Welcome to one of my all time highest gaming achievements I've ever done!
Evil West is a masterpiece, simple as that! This is, without a doubt, the best game this gen I've played so far! Everything just hits the mark for me without any excuses. Gameplay, difficulty, atmosphere, music, level design, artstyle, monster design, everything is top act here! This is what gaming is all about for me, honestly!
Evil difficulty is hard as nails, no ifs or buts! It unapologetically requires skill from the player. That's it, you are either very very good at the game, or you die, no inbetween. And, for me, there's no other way a game should be! You are always 2-3 hits away from death amongst extremely vicious and fast enemies that want nothing else from you except death. There are instances,where you can get one-shotted. That's it, suck it up and try again!
Evil difficulty on True Death mode (Permadeath) is one of the hardest and most rewarding gaming experiences I've ever had, hands down! I cannot even begin to describe how many times I've been doing fine, and...baam, dead in less than a second! And just like that, you start the whole game from scratch. All the progress is automatically deleted. It's absolutely brutal! You really need a lot of dedication and nerves to finish this mode! I am so happy I did it, but also kinda relieved I am finally able to walk free of this "curse". Honestly, been doing this for months! What a ride!
Unfortunatelly, I had to divide the run into two parts, because at the beginning of chapter 9 my stream just ended. Something happened with my router and my connection failed. I was super pissed, but decided to just start a new stream and finish the second half of the game. I apologise for that. There was nothing I could've done.(Well, there is now, I'll just replace my router:))

If you like action adventure games, do yourself a favour and try it out! It's one of the best games I've ever played, no exaggeration!
I'm excited to try this once I'm done NG+. But also, I am scared of starting from scratch. I'll come back to watch the full vid when I get stuck. lol
Starting a fresh new game on Evil difficulty is brutal, man! You are no more than 3 hits away from death at any given time. Make sure you get familiar with the game enough if you wanna do it.
@edgarector I just bought it and the masochist in me put it on Evil for my first playthrough. I've played Sekiro, I'm used to dying alot. We'll see if I make it without lowering the difficulty! Just got the electric cross/done the cable car puzzle so not that far in.

Hahaha! Yeah, absolutely!
If you know this game, you would know bosses are insanely hard, especially on Evil difficulty, where you are no more than 3 hits away from death at any given time. The hardest of them being your father. This boss just wipes the floor with you, if you don't know his moves intimately. Even then, it's extremely hard. I somehow survived it in my run, but I was lucky here and there, tbh. Final boss also deserves a mention.
It cost me so much time and effort to make this run, oh man! But, I love this game to pieces, I had to!
@@edgarector for me playing on hard difficulty, on my first playthrough i had a tough time at a certain miniboss that just kept on repeating in multiple chapters, it was that dragon fuck at 51:00 , other minibosses were easy but that one pissed me off the most and for me was the most difficult. props to you for actually finishint this entire game on evil without dying

Of course! Some enemies consistently take 95% of your life with one hit. But, the game is, more ot less, fair. Usually, if you get hit it's on you. With just a couple of exceptions:)
