Great video and well explained! I came here after seeing the absolute worst tutorial on the subject from VSDC's page and your video was 10,000 times better. Cheers & Thank You!!
I want to make an infinite loop type video, but the editor when rendering the video automatically fade in and fade out the audio creating an interruption in the audio loop. What can I do, how can I configure the editor to not fade in and fade out automatically. Thanks
Any music which I may have used in my videos was downloaded from UA-cam Audio Library. You can use music from UA-cam Audio Library without any worry. Apart from that, there are many UA-cam channels which offer free copyrighted music, you can use them as well although there are certain conditions which you must follow if you use such music like linking back to the main channel from where you downloaded the music, mentioning the name of the original artists and so on. Nowadays if there is any copyright music involved,UA-cam will alert you before you publish your videos so that also helps.
Thank you very much! My intro music to my videos abruptly ends, so to mask that I have music for my video overlapping the end where it stops so it's less noticeable lol. But thanks for this it helps a lot!
thanks i really really needed this, the tutorial could be shortened thought since its a bit too much information i already know before it gets to the fading part but still great tutorial
Do one thing, decrease the audio volume of the entire scene itself. First you need to click on 'Scene 0' or whatever scene you are working on. Then look inside the 'Scene settings' which is present inside the 'Properties window'. There at the very end below you will find the audio volume option where the value will be '0.0'. You need to decrease the value to somewhere around lets say '-35.0' and that's it. Now you have successfully decreased the audio volume of the entire scene to such an extent that nothing will be audible.
On the top, besides the 'Editor' tab you have the 'View' tab. Simply click on whatever you want to view. You will find all the things there. Do let me know if you have any more queries.
Yes it is possible. Double click on your video in the editor, then go to Audio effects --> Amplitude --> Fade In to fade in audio of your original video and then click on OK. Repeat the process, double click on your video once again, then go to Audio effects --> Amplitude --> Fade Out and click on OK. That's it,you have successfully added fade in and fade out in the audio of the original video.
Great video. I normally use OpenShot, but since I recently did a reformat and fresh windows install, I have found that Openshot keeps hanging (not responding). That, and when rendering a video, whereas it used to take anything up to hour and half, now it can take anything up to 8-9 hours!!! So have started to use VSCD instead to see if that performs any better. It does hang on occasion, but not quite so much. I did notice that however, you have NOT given any credit to the author of the music you used in the video. You also stated during the video that it was a Creative Commons. This also you have not listed in your description. It is best you do this, as YT could take offence to it, as well as the author of the music you've used.
Hey thanks for telling me to mention the name of the author of the music. I will mention it in the description as soon as possible. Normally music used from UA-cam audio library is in the clear and they mention it when you download the audio from there if you need to mention the name of the author or not and accordingly i must have not mentioned it but as you said you never know when UA-cam take offence.
@@nextgenblogger No problem. As a contnt creator, even if the tunes I use come from YT's audio library, I still list it in the video description. Always better to be safe than sorry LOL.
Normally fade out should work also, look inside the amplify effect settings in the properties window on the right side and make sure the audio volume has the value, -100;0

Hi. I would like to do the fade in and out in the Audio of the original video, not on a different audio added like you did. Is it pssible?

@@nextgenblogger thanks!!
but actually it doesnt allow me to change the fade time for more then 1,5 seconds :(. the numbers are grey and I cant change it
That's strange, try to resize the object in the timeline and see if there are any changes in the duration.

I followed your instruction. The fade in works, but the fade out doesn't work. Why? please

@@nextgenblogger it works now. But the number should be 0; -100 for fade out. Thanks
