- I've been eyeing this GHD Rise for awhile and got it not too long ago. It's a volumizer that's suppose to give you 2x more volume, even though I already have thick hair I'm kinda interested to see if it will work on my hair type.
I'm a big fan of GHD products as I already have the Curve and the Platinum+, so I'm hoping this GHD Rise will make the cut and be a part of my hair tools. This is my thoughts on the GHD Rise and what I think of it, and if you should get one.
If you're interested in getting the GHD Rise, you can find it here.

I have the Dyson Airwrap and I would recommend getting that instead because it's superior. It is more than double the price though, but it makes up for it in range of options.

Wow i have no idea how they made her hair look like that... maybe they also used products on it before the tools 😂
Awesome review beautiful!
I was so shocked too! Hahaha i actually was soo worried Prior coz i dont know how it would turn out. 😂
@@herliekim you are amazing. Keep up the good good work.❤️👍🏽
I know this is old but thought I'd mention this anyway. The rise isn't supposed to be dragged through the hair like a hot brush or curling iron. The bristles are meant for gripping not combing. Think of it as a curling iron but safer, because there are bristles that stop the rod from touching your skin and burning you. It's supposed to be used on dry hair because it's just a styler, not a hot air dryer. You either just volumise or curl with it, don't try to do a blow out.
For volume you lift your section of hair, place it at the roots and drop your hair back down over it, then lift the hair back off when you're done, don't try to brush it out. For curl you wrap the section of hair around it and then unwrap it when done, don't try to pull it through your hair or it'll rip out. For curl and volume, curl the section then do the volume thing I mentioned
Not true watch the actual GHD VIDEO
Omg your hair looks amazing, and it made me want to buy it!
Creative! You are the symbol of honesty and integrity and creativity..
I think you should use it close to your root I have seen that in other tutorials and it does made a loot of volume
It's never going to give you root lift volume if you don't hold it on the root?! If you just curl the ends, of course you'll only get waves with no root volume! Don't get this review at all :)
I actually did try to hold it on the root, its not that obvious on my video because of the time lapse. However, after watching a couple videos, you needed to use the GhD volumizing spray that they have for it to work. Hope it helps! 😃
@@herliekim yeah, root lift spray will give you that extra lift for sure. Thanks 🙏🏽
You should put it super close to ur roots, and under your hair close to the roots not on top of it
You didn’t use it right, that’s why you didn’t get the volume. Disappointing review.
Hi Pretty girl, I'm catching up on my vids and watching this made me smile because you have the best hair and crying because I wish my hair was as thick as yours :(
Enjoyed watching this GHD review but you're right the price is a bit steep and if didn't work for your hair pass. Thanks for sharing.! xox
I’m a hairstylist, sooo the volume depends on how you use/style it. Might want to have your hairstylist assist you in learning how to use it.
You didn’t use it at the roots, so why would it give volume at the roots?
I bought it last week and has performed amazing on my hair! I think it depends on which your hair type is 😊 With this tool I've experienced a non frizzy look that no other hot brush has given me 😊
Oh I’m so glad it worked well for you! Did you do it differently? I still have it, U wanna make it work 😅
I do my hair like hairdressers do the so call "torchon" technique. Or I usually comb till the ends, than I roll backwards and wait 5-8 seconds. After I unroll the hair and give it a twist with my fingers to shape the curl. BUUUT, before all of this things, I spray their specific product to keep the styling alive 😁
Hope this can be helpful ❤️
@@MarisevoluC awesome! Which hair product do you use! Awesome! Ill try it! 😍

Thanks for sharing sharing hun!!
Yes finally! Been waiting for your review. Ghd oracle review please.
Hi @Rutti Frutti! I have been looking everywhere for it. 🥺 its not on sephora canada and amazon. Do you know where to purchase it?
@@herliekim OMG! You actually replied. 😊😭🥰
I think you have to visit the website. Thanks for noticing me! 😊😊😊
Watch the tutorials from ghd. They show exactly how to use the brush to add volume to the roots. Your hair still came out beautiful though
Ahhh great review I think my hair would also get stuck in it 😩
You have to bring it to the roots and hold it there.
you used the iron incorrectly. need to curl it at roots for volume.
It probably gives very short hair volume. I have a similar brush I use when my hair is short.
It’s the way you did it ;) you have to push the hair up and away from the scalp. They also recommend root lift product
Thank you! yea, I have received very good feedback from all of you. I will take that in to consideration next time. ❤️
Beautiful! Wouldn't change a thing. 4/4
Hahaha sounds familiar!! 🤔😂
You’re supposed to use it on damp hair plus you didn’t go close enough to the root.. Still looks lovely though
Awesome upload dear.. Beautiful.tfs stay connected
I did a somewhat review on this product too and I think you are supposed to target the roots by brushing it up and kind working around it. I learned that but I don’t think it’s worth 250 bucks 😭 great review girl! We have similar content so I subbed 🤞🏽💞
Its in canadian. 😭
@@herliekim lmfao! You made me laugh! I just just just can’t explain it 😂
You dont't know how to use it
I have same hair like yours but more wavy and unmanageable hair. Have you ever tried Amika blowout babe interchangeable thermal hair brush ? Need your thoughts on this. You always make amazing hair tools review videos . I bought this amika blowout thermal hair brush set but I m having a really hard time getting the most out of it. I think due to my hair type I m having these difficulties.
I have a video on that too!

Oh this is in canadian. But lucky you got a coupon! ❤️

Certo che se lavori solo sulle lunghezze il volume non ti viene.. guarda altri toutorials prima di criticare la piastra che riescano a fare il volume 👍🏻
I don't like this review, the title and your personal point of view implies that people shouldn't buy the ghd rise but it was you who didn't use it correctly and even in these circumstances, your hair looks great and sofisticated. I bought the rise after watching a few videos including yours and my experience was positive, lucky I didn't get derailed by your opinion. No offense but when you review a product you're supposed to be experienced and know how to use it.. this is my opinion.
Toi just dont have the right technique
You look like Nicole Scherzinger
Girl you did it wrong you can not get volume doing it like that 😅
Wow so beautiful girl 🌷
You just don’t get it 😂
Please find a way to do it right from a professional stylist. The problem is not on the product.
Thank you for valuable input, ill remember it for next time. 🤍
You supposed to use it as a blow dry brush not as a flat iron girl what is wrong with you
thank you for your feedback
I’m supper disappointed from this product
