the first question for a woman is always something like “have you EVER laundered money???” and then for a guy its like “hey silly goose!! have you ever looked at yourself nakey in the mirror?”
That's probably because the guy doesn't have a reputation of money laundry, they are very intentional with their questions based off of the research they have done about the candidates. stop looking for sexism in everything
@@Idk-nc7kj there is definitely a difference in the questions women are asked, though. From what I've seen, women are almost always asked questions almost exclusively about their partners, and they often have to do with the woman's sexual activity and/or whether she's cheated on her spouse. Men are more likely to be asked questions revolving around other illegal/looked down upon things, their jobs, and the size of their ego. Their questions are also easier to answer as far as I can tell. It does become a pattern if you're paying attention to it.
@@Idk-nc7kj yikes! someone hasnt seen much of the show & felt the need to comment some bs anyway! they aren't 'looking for sexism', it's incredibly obvious jarvis has even pointed it out multiple times lol
@@rachelleredd8803 Did we watch the same episodes? I completely agree with sexism being apparent, usually because they shame or imply shame about having sex, but men were consistently asked if they cheat on their partner as well, and the one ass was literally asked a question that got him fired from what people consider a career.
I love how you're honest when people give you unnecessary criticism (telling you to stop whistling or turn off subtitles, for example). It isn't mean, and you deserve to make content you like and be comfortable while doing it. Loving these streams, Jarvis.
as someone who also has adhd, i was taken aback by how unapologetically and simply he talked about things like whistling. i wish it wasn’t so surprising, but it lowkey made a way bigger impact on me than i think he’d expect lmao. it can be exhausting and difficult navigating the world while being neurodivergent- it was really great to see someone casually, confidentially self advocate. it’s doubtful that he sees this, but if so, a big thank you for that!!! 💖 sorry for the long ass response to your comment lol, it was just an oddly nice moment i also wanted to point out 🥺
I always find comments about subtitles as super weird because a large reason for why he leaves them on is for the deaf or hard-of-hearing crowd. If people truly can’t handle some tiny words on the screen, I would hate to see them unable to hear something and left out of the conversation because of it.
So many of these first questions basically go: "So I understand you want kids one day?" Contestant: "Yes." "Have you ever seen a child and not immediately wanted to cry from sheer joy because you love kids so much?" Like bro, not every contestant is Clark Kent. Some of us aren't amazing people 100% of the time.
first couple questions: have you ever looked at yourself in a mirror next question: have you ever hit an innocent old ladies dog and driven away while everyone watched in horror ?
I know I probably shouldn't be surprised that the audience booed the wife for kinda waffling on the kid question, but I am. Like, her husband just admitted there's things he's done that would make her not trust him and said if she "got flabby" he'd want her to get liposuction (not to mention his last question), how is she the bad guy for not jumping to have kids with him? Mind-boggling.
I'd like to think she didn't feel that way prior but the tone is that she was never sure she wanted kids but her husband always did. And that's problematic
Hey Jarvis, I want to apologise for leaving a fairly negative comment yesterday. After you responded I was stunned that you did and secondly, felt terrible bc sometimes I really forget content creators are human beings and not bots stuck in the internet. It weighed on me and I even thought, I wonder if he'll say something about comments like that soon. I click on today's video and whoop there it is. Love the call out, love the energy, and I'm sorry. Keep it up. You're amazing.
That's really cool of you to say. I'm sure I've said things on the internet that I shouldn't have, but it takes integrity to call yourself out like that. Have a great day. :)
i think something youtube audiences dont realize is that livetreams are jut like that. streamers get distracted, go on tangents, take a long time to get to things. obviously some people prefer something quick and direct, and constructive criticism is good, but at some point you have to say: this content is not for me, im going to go watch something i enjoy instead of going off in the comments about not liking this. that being said i really enjoy these vods, keep up the good work jarvis + austin!
I was watching these VODs of someone doing a Bingo and enjoyed it a lot, so decided to catch a stream and I just.. I had to quit watching.. It took them FIFTY YEARS every single time a thing was called and SO MANY TANGENTS and since it was a Bingo, it was obviously the same shit over and over and over.. Like the streams are like probably an hour (at least) and the video is TEN MINUTES LONG, HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE.. So yeah, I kept to the VODs..
So I see a lot of ppl wondering as to how they manage to get such specific and personal questions and idk if they say it in the US version but in the danish version one family mentioned on the show that the questions are actually questions asked by the contestants' family and friends that might also explain why certain family members and friends are with them in the studio and why questions are targeted or related to them because they probably invited the people whose questions they chose for the episode. I mean it could be that the US does things differently than the Danish version of the show but everything else was the exact same.
This show is so frustrating because they know polygraphs are bullshit and write the questions in a way that manipulates people into having to overthink the question which triggers the polygraph. Saying things like "have you ever" makes people think "Oh, well one time maybe I could see that happening"
I feel like the question about lipo before Todd/Tye mentioning he wanted kids in the future threw Catia for a loop lmao Please keep these moment of truth vids coming!

While I'm sure others have done so, I'd like to point out that there's more nuance that wouldn't be covered by simple yes/no questions. In this episode I noticed it first at the liposuction question. A "Yes, if she wanted to" would still be a "yes" which makes it seem a lot worse.
I've been really enjoying putting these vods on while i work and I've left comments about chat before and like, i personally don't think that reflects on you, Jarvis, at all.
