Baling and Stacking Barley Straw in Idaho

- In this video I am out in the field with a farm from the Hamer Idaho area as they are baling and hauling barley straw. The barley crop was harvested the day before with a Case IH 7250 combine ran by Wolgemuth Harvesting out of Elizabethtown Pennsylvania. I recently posted a video of them harvesting wheat in a field right beside this one and you will see that combine in the background in parts of this video.
Baling the straw in this video is two Case IH 250 Magnum Tractors pulling Case IH LB434XL big square balers and two Case IH (220&280) tractors pulling Pro Ag Bale Skoops picking up the bales and hauling them out of the field.
Great video! Not a lot of long baling videos on YT, trust me I've looked, so it's good to see one of a kind. Love the balers. I grew up on alfalfa farms so I started running a swather when I was 10 and balers when I turned 12. Keep up the great work on great content.
First viewer from Italy. God Bless.
Be thankful for your talent and the opportunity to travel and do this great job you are doing.Beautiful farmland.Keep it up stay safe and God bless you all!
Another awesome video we can’t see anywhere else

Fantastic episode Mike
Those sky's are incredible nice video
Awesome baling-footage!
Thanks a lot for showing! 😊👍🏻
Nice equipment. A lot of acres to bail for sure. Excellent video Mike!!
Good job Mike👍🏻
Mike ,I went to the farm progress show today and stopped at the Versatile booth hoping to meet you but they said that you changed jobs which surprised me, but good luck with your new job.
Yes I left Versatile back in June
Great vídeo Mike.
Cool to see baling action👍😁 nice video again😉👍
Good view of it all 👍
Need to get you back here for spud harvest
Great video Mike🌎👍😉
Looks like you had great weather while you were there. Talk about wide open spaces they surely have it there. Dave D.
Untidy tip of bales, in the UK we have an off set pusher bar mounted on the front of the tractor, the catcher carry's 10 Hesston sized bales & stacks them vertical, in massive leaps to be picked up at a convenient place for trucks.
Nice video Mike
Funny, at the start of that video I could actually smell straw hear in the office.
Hey man your videos are awesome, keep them coming. One request, could you film shaum family farms if you get the chance, or maybe you have already, if so you could share it with me or give me the title at least. Thanks again and have a great rest of the week.😎
thank you 🙏 for a good baling vid
💯💯💯🎯
did you go to their hay press in Dubois while you were there?
Those are some impressive rock lines. Are they used for something other than keeping them out of the combine?
What do the bales run for weight?
Who would buy the straw and would it be hauled very far?
Hey Mike. How do you get the sound without hearing the drone sound? Most everyone else the drone noise over powers the sounds of the equipment you are videoing. You have nice videos!
Trade secret
He uses another microphone and records the audio seperate from the drone vid. Then in production he syncs it up and replaces the drone audio with the good recording.
I record sound of different machines and lay those parts into the drone clips while editing. Sometimes this can be a challenge and can be very time consuming. It save lots of editing time to use music instead.
The price of fuel, collecting 6 bales at a time in that field, I don’t know
😎😎
حصاد رائع مايك
It's a shame those square balers cant travel as fast as round balers
I like Mike less videos on UA-cam from the imperial co California.
That straw is bone dry
