I Flew an Emax Tinyhawk 3 (EZ Pilot Pro) in a Blizzard // Ep. 99

I was charging up a few 1s packs while watching ‪@InfinityLoops‬ stream during a blizzard. There was talk of flying in the snow so I decided that's where I'd fly. During a lil bit of a lul in the storm I took to the skies...or more accurately the wind took me to the skies. I crashed pretty quickly in my first 2 attempts. Regardless! Winter sucks & I wanted to fly outside. I vowed no 5 inch kwads this winter & the Fractal 65 is grounded, so I made do with what I had. I did have fun, so I hope you enjoy!

Beautiful snow rip! I am thinking about getting an EZ Pilot Pro for my boy, how do you like it? Everything about the kit seems appealing, however I wish it had an altitude hold mode. I'm just hoping he can deal with ANGL mode and not get pissed off and never fly again as is to be expected with kids.

I got it for my 14 yr old daughter. She didn't like the amount of work to put in flying & didn't wanna do the sim 1st. So I'll be putting my 4 yr old son in the goggles soon cuz he ALWAYS asks to fly the sim & has his own radio I won from Nappy. I like it from a beginner stand point. the goggles are decent. Controller is box style & the kwad is pretty damn ROBUST. The props always fly off with a hard crash & seem to completely disappear at times. Definitely worth the money for a newbie, wouldn't waste my money on any piece of the equipment for myself at this stage in the hobby though. I do use the removeable goggle screen as my bench monitor and take em with me when I fly in case someone wants to ride shotgun. The radio feels cheap too. Probably similar in feel to what I hear the iFlight commando feels like.
