Nice to have you back. That is a very attractive piece of equipment. I have exactly the same noise issue with power supplies at my bench. I am slowly migrating back to old and inefficient linear supplies. The worst culprit is my main magnifier lamp, which uses an LED ring illumination. A work in progress as well as many other projects. Karl
Maybe the wiring harness was pre-made at the factory, and simply needed to be soldered in place by the kit builder. That soldering does not look like factory work.
