Target goal of 200kph eventually, the ZOHD Alpha Strike maiden flight and craft overview of components. Built to run on a 6 cell battery, the plan with this craft is to eventually reach a speed of +200kph and be the king of speed in my fleet. Running INAV 6.1 and ELRS this is the maiden test flight.
Beautiful maiden auto launch! I have one of these that a friend gave me last year and I'm hoping to try it out soon. Just finished assembling it after frying and replacing every electronic piece (I smoked the flight controller, esc, gps, servos...because I didn't know what I was doing.) I have my Alpha Strike built and am anxious to try it out. Looks pretty good!
@@ericwright7570 They sure are fun and surprisingly easy to fly. My goal is to reach 200kph comfortably on 6s which I hope to do next fly once we get some decent weather.

Sorry for the late response my auto launch is pretty much default other than the spin up time being raised a little.
Another guy installed a 5x5.5 apc and got 155 mph on 4s..he used no extra fpv gear or gyro..i think it was a 2200 mah batt
Didn't you use a gyro launching and flying this? I have several planes similar to this and never use any gyros..i have crashed many times,but these planes are fun to fly..i have this pnp version still have not set it up yet..i was thinking about installing a gyro rx since its so nice and it would be great to have a gyro switch if it got to be to twichy..thanks for sharing

It has a flight controller so yeah stabilized flight with inav auto launch. I can fly it manual which has no stabilization but until I am used to the way it flies and for setup up I prefer some stability. And yeah it seems a fun plane.
Install twin motor to minimize your urge on FC. I've already tried twin 2205 with 6 inch prop from old quad, took off with a 4*2 18650 pack very easy and slow.
