i had an internal pop and that helped me a lot. thank you. Also for anyone watching this comment, please NEVER buy the yuxin little magic 6x6. it popped 5 times in 3 solves and one of them was an internal piece. edit: i tightened the cube and added some martian lube with a bit of weight 5 from scs and it feels great
this also kind of helped me to learn how a 6x6 works, surprised how the person who made it didnt die of brain overheat lol, I think a diy kit for the 6x6 would be pretty cool too. Lets be honest, you deserve a sub and you earned a sub
My 6x6 was accidentally destroyed and I had to reassemble all of it. It is a very difficult, strenuous task to rebuild. Eventually, I managed to fix it. Thank you so much for this video! ❤
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! I once had a pop so bad on 6x6 that it disassembled and I left it on the counter for like 3 days disassembled when I got to it I spent like 3 hours figuring out how to do the last layer assembly and I almost rage quit.
Just assembled by 7 year old's cube and it was very hard to put the 2 lips together on each of the 4 sides. Once I loosened the screw and used the spring to make some space, it worked by putting one lip at a time! Thank you for the videos..
My friend gave me his broken 6x6 and told me to fix it and he knew I didn't have a six by six, he said if I can fix it he'll give it to me... Thanks u helped me out a lot
Thank you for this, hopefully I will remember this because I am bound to have to rebuild 6x6x6s again at some point, I have done it but it is always frustrating, I feel this method will make it alot faster. Have you ever tried to see how fast you can reassemble a 6x6x6?
@@CubeSolveHero Well I have just had to assemble a new core magnetic 6x6x6, I feel this tutorial may have to be remade for core magnetic 6x6x6s since without tweaking the method quite a bit the core will keep just sticking to one of the corners. We will have to wait and see whether these core magnetic big cubes become a common thing though.
I completely assemble the yellow side in the first step and do not do the same thing twice in the final step. Simply loosening the spring is sufficient to release any excess tension that may interfere with assembly (at least that was the case with MGC 6x6x6 etc.) This video is very helpful when it comes to taping. thank you.
After solving 4x4 and 5x5 i felt i was ready to try 6x6. Started solving it really fast and the cube literally EXPLODED in my hands. After two attempts, a lot of yelling, swearing, raging (especially by trying to fix the lips on the last layers), i was able to reassemble the cube. Thank you. You got i like and sub, even if i get re-traumatized by just hearing your voice.
For me, the 4 centers, a tiny bracket , and 4 edges just came out but when I figured where the tiny bracket is,then the centers, and then I put in the edges in that were near the big bracket, and then the edges near the corners. Thanks for the tutorial!
This is a life saver, “buddy” of mine had a couple inner pieces pop out, when I was replacing the last one the entire cube broke apart so I had to start from the beginning
That's for this. Had JUST gotten my new 6x6 solved and was trying to look at the inner workings. Well, didn't want that good of a look. It popped apart. 😅
a few months one of those small lips popped out (also this same mgc), and the more i tried to reassemble it it broke more apart, this will help rebuilding it, thank you very much
Thank you so much for this. I had to reassemble my 6x6 last year without a tutorial and it took me more than a week so this will be useful next time it pops
100% The cube actually turns and now I feel comfortable assembling the cube. Eventually I will know how to assemble it of by heart! I never got to do any solves last night, (I am in Australia) but my average is 6 minutes and 2 seconds and my pb is 5.56 I will let you know when it drops. Once again thank you so much!
My 6x6 broke entirely since it popped then i tried to fix it but failed so i practically cried. But the i saw this video and i kid you not this helped me more than 100%
can you do an 8x8 assembly tutorial next? My MFJS 8x8 has a popped center piece and im scared that i wont be able to reassembled if i accidentally explode the whole cube
@Tingman. I tried corner-cutting a YJ YuShi cube, and it exploded. You are fortunate that you don't have a 6x6 that exploded. This tutorial is amazing. It has helped me so much.
same, it popped a bit and a bracket came out, I took a few more pieces out to see where the bracket was meant to go, then some more fell out and eventually a lot came out. I just took it apart and started again
@@gamingwithkacper It was really annoying. I even tightened the screws, and it still exploded. Corner cutting is non-existent on my 6x6. I eventually just got a refund on the puzzle.
@@chess9478 I’m still putting mine back together, about 20 hours so far but I’m nearly done. I’ll just use this as a second cube and get the MGC as my makn

Hey Cubesolvehero! This tutorial was super helpful. I could finally assemble my 6x6 after a long time. The only problem i'm having right now is when i'm trying to turn 3 layers, the cube gets stuck randomly and I can hardly turn. Can I fix this somehow?
Even though I hope to NEVER have to do this, this video was oddly relaxing to watch! Thanks for making these useful videos.
You should make a video following along these instructions to see if you can actually assemble the 6x6 😎
I need to!
I wasn’t expecting you to be here!
i agree
I did it yesterday
This was really helpful, ive never done this before!
maybe you can make a skit with it

I just came here because my YLM popped lol. It's a shame since their 4x4s and 5x5s are so good.
Even though I don't have a 6x6 I'll still watch this because I like your content
You should get one and break it apart!
Well I'm not good at big cubes

Thanks for the heart by the way @Cube Solve Hero

You deserve a medal. My kid managed to rip it apart, and I was absolutely certain I'd not be able to assemble it... until I watched this video!
This would’ve been super helpful a few months ago when mine popped. I got so mad with the inner pieces I just bought a new cube 😂
Yeah the same happened to me with my 4x4. I couldn’t assemble it because it was non-magnetic so I just bought a new one
Good thing you have this tutorial so you can re-build the one you have
@@CubeSolveHero very true
Now you have 2 yj Mgc 6x6s
