True, it's geared more towards the hiking, backpacking scene I think, but I can also see this as a great addition to camper vans and the whole vanlife scene. You can fit two of these in a van easy and not take up much space.

I would question the durability of this, at least long term. That auto centering is an absolute deal breaker for me, it would send my phone down the ice fishing hole guaranteed!
I think it may have been the way I showed it. Sitting in it or having it recenter when I you get up its not as fast as when i showed it not being in the chair. They do offer other models like the 360 swivel that does not have the self centering option.

I don’t think the center feature is good. You turn to get out then you have to mess with it to sit back down especially if your hands are full
