I put some in tomato pots one year, also had added coconut coir and ended up with blossom end rot. Treated it with water from a container full of limestone and within a few weeks had good tomatoes again. So not sure if it was the combination, just the coffee, it just the coconut coir. Any thoughts.

blossom end rot is usually a lack of calcium, limestone did the trick for you. i use wood ash too with my coffee grounds. wood ash is for the calcium
