2:06 made me laugh, great video btw, I really like it. I'm considering playing this a few times with my friends because we like tabletop RPG's and I love sci-fi stuff of Lancer's caliber. :)
So, if a character flies, can they end their movement directly above another character, so that on a 2D plane it'd look like them sharing a space but on a 3D plane you'd still see them as separated? Or would that count as sharing the space due to the 2D map perspective?
Can you play Lancer on a square grid? I thought it was all hex based? I think the faster speech was fine dragon, but if others don't like it then it wouldn't be a huge deal to go back to the previous speed, love your videos!
Zack Nimkoff I mean you can play it in the theatre of the mind so it doesn’t really matter. Also I remember there being adjustments to a grid option in the core book
I like to move it, move it
You like to move it, move it
We like to move it, move it
We Like To.....
*BOOST!*
I've been playing a campaign for almost a month and I didn't know about some of this. Thanks for putting it together!
Trying to GM my first Lancer game soon, thanks for this!
You can also put the video in .75 speed and be gucci
Yeah that's what I did too haha.
This video is looking slick, I love how it looks on a grid!

great content keep it up
Great video.
Did you use McGillian's sprites for the video?
Well I finished the video now but it still counts because McGillian still works on that project :D
So, for flying rules, can you move on a diagonal line? Or is it only horizontal and vertical lines? I don’t think the rules clarify this very well.
You can move diagonal, correct.
Does dragging/lifting require an action, or is it just part of your movement? Same with jumping, is that a quick action or can you just do it?
It's just part of movement yes.
"fly through a gap"
oh, no Yukari.

Admittedly, you probably don't want to do that even if it's not sharing space because that's just confusing.

you can even play it grid-less, with miniatures on round boards if you wish, if you keep the scale consistent, like miniature war games.

Anyone know where the clip at 2:43 is from? Thanks in advance
