I was lucky enough to see a Mirage 3 fly at one of the last Pearce AFB air shows (probably late 1970s or early 1980s?), plus I have some pics I took of it on static display. The closest I got to flying one (ie never) was a few years spent as an airforce cadet in my high school years, when we would go up to Pearce once a year for a air cadets camp. Very cool looking jet. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it very much.
I'm proudly certified as a Radio/radar avionic technician. Also competency certified to perform pre and primary flight checks on tbe Mirage III, models CZ, EZ, DZ and D2Z. The radar being referred to was the Cyrano 2B.
Good interview.
On the short list for the most beautiful jet ever built.
Excellent.

Would be nice a cockpit walkthrough
Yes I'm kicking myself now that we didn't get Ron to take us through the cockpit! Will have to do that next time we are down there.
