@1:46 most common is Child lock. watch till end.
this is the remote for adjustable base beds. mine does head and feet but this guide may work for others.

if remote flashes and doesn't work but was working, try removing child lock in video...

Most common issues is child lock @1:46
I did the solution mentioned and it "didn't work" until I remembered I'd unplugged the base in order to plug my laptop into the outlet. 🤣 Oops!

Got a new remote to replace the old one. It would not work no matter what I tried. The remote was not paired with the control unit. I followed your directions of pressing the reset button 2 times, and then pushing the head up and the flat buttons at the same time and it made the remote work. Thank you for sharing that information that I could not find anywhere until I found your post.

DUDE. most helpful video I've watched in a long time!!! I thought the remote was broken, replaced batteries, unplugged & replugged, changes batteries. Slept on the couch because I got to frustrated. Woke up found this video, BAM it was the damn child lock button 🤦🏼♀️😂 THANK YOU SO MUCH my bed was stuck with the head & feet all the way up! Kids man✌️😂

Thank you!!! My remote wasn’t on child lock, but the zero gravity button was goofing and would set it to an incorrect position, so frustrating! After resetting and following every step, it’s back to normal. You’re a lifesaver!!

Omg I was so hoping this would help me. This bed base has been an absolute blessing in my life. I just had my 30th surgery and this base has helped me in so many ways. A few nights ago it just randomly went flat. The remote lights up but does nothing with the base. I have had a friend reset it so many times but still nothing. I saw this and thought omg this has to be it! Only my remote looks different from yours. It has no lock button. They told us it was a Leggett and Platt 600 though. I cannot find any remote on the internet that looks like mine. Do they make different styles of remotes for the same base? Please let me know if you hear anything else like this (as well as anyone who sees this) THANK YOU!!!!
Saw this in a comment further down for a different remote:
Press and hold head lift and foot lift simultaneously on the remote, then press and hold the pair/sync button on the cord for three seconds. You will hear 2 beeps sound. The remote will then be paired.

Mattress firm 300 series with 7 buttons is different too. I see a lot of cries for help, guess what, I found the instructions from mine!! So 3 steps; 1:) unplug base 3 minutes 2:) plug in then UP and FLAT until remote backlight flashes once. 3:) Try any button 4:) Get some sleep ❤❤❤
