When it comes to Kenshi Yonezu, there's four songs that really stand out to me that really capture his range as an artist.
1. Flamingo. It's funky, very amazing bassline and vocals.
2. Teenage Riot. It's more of a hard rock song, and it's done extremely well. Great guitar and drum tracks and the vocals are insane.
3. Kanden. Funk/jazz fusion, it's amazing. The horns in the song really bring in a different sound from a lot of his other stuff, it's so good.
4. Paprika. It's a slower, softer song. I believe it's a cover of a children's song, but it's super well done. It has a really nostalgic feeling with nice soft keyboard tracks and beautiful vocals.
Please, if you want to check out more songs from him then you should 100% check out all four of those. All of those songs are off his album Stray Sheep, which is one of the most amazing Jrock/Jpop albums in a while. His album prior to that, Bootleg, is another amazing album that fuses a bunch of genres. If you have the time, please listen to these all the way through. They're both so unbelievable with the musicianship and fusion of styles.

He’s so unique in his compositions. Love his voice. Just unbelievably talented. I’m so glad you appreciate him as an artist. Also, I’m 38 and haven’t accomplished anywhere near what he has as an artist and it makes me sad sometimes lol.

Also I sadly have to mention that Kenshi Yonezu barely does live concerts as far as I'm concerned 😅

Ok just finished watching and I loooove your reactions hahahaha. If you're shocked by his range of talents, check out his illustrations! He draws and paints all his album covers, and has put out art books too. And he's annoyingly VERY good at that, too

Idk of people already know, but pretty much some of the most viewed japanese mv on youtube are actually comes from j-drama, like Lemon, I love from OfficialHigeDandism or Hakujitsu from King Gnu. The songs are probably more popular than the drama, but yeah I just think its worth mentioning, since everyone already familiar with anime.
Also please dont compare yourself too much. You probably think that you dont achieved enough, but your channel are like a safe place for many, which I guess has help a lot of people too, like me
Kenshi Yonezu is great! He's one of my favorite J-pop artists for sure. If you like him, you might wanna give Kiro Akiyama a listen. I was first introduced to him through his song Caffeine.

My first song from him was Vivi ❤️ I have followed him since his Diorama album and he gives me so much joy in life ❤️❤️❤️ He STILL produces Vocaloid songs and revisits the community every now and then, a true master and complete original, I love how he writes his songs, composes the music, ANIMATES, he is everything to me, a true artist and I'm so happy he is more recognized but sad I can't keep him to myself lol

Unrelated to the Kenshi content (I'll just say he's my fav singer of all time and leave it at that)
But please don't compare yourself to others based on your age and achievements. I know cleaners in their 50s who are happier than doctors in their 20s. I know people who did everything as society expects at a young age - uni, marriage, kids, great career - who are completely relying on drugs to get through the day. Life isn't a race and everything's fake. Just enjoy yourself, find beauty in the mundane, and remember that we're all on different paths
