Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Elvis, Prince, Freddie, Whitney and many many more were so brillant. But Kate is over them. She is from another world. Love Kate for ever.
I agree.
@@charlesperez9976 Me too.
You went pretty high, but i agree 👍🏼
No argument from me! I think Kate is a true genius never to be rivaled in any medium.
calm down romeo😂
I can hardly ever get through this song without crying.
I kiss the ground
I tell my mother
I tell my father
I tell my lover
I tell my brother..
How much I love them!
Beautiful.
After an intense period of confusion and indecisiveness, the fog is lifting. I immediately thought of this gorgeous song of Kate's
This song fits so well with leaving complicated times behind.
You know what? I love you better now.
This song is church for me
one of the most perfect songs to end an album, which in itself is outstanding and timeless. 35 years old now and I can still remember listening to it in 1985. ...never fails to move me this song. Thank you kate
One of the only reasons I get up every morning id because we live a world that has Kate.
"You know what? I love you better now. I´m falling, like a stone, like a storm, born and being born again, into the sweet morning fog..." This is perfection.
Paul SC Please take me back to those happier days.
One of the best albums ever
Completely agree. 9th wave is a timeless masterpiece.
My favourite Kate Bush song.
The story ends in joy and triumph. The singer is washed ashore, alive, reborn from water as the sun rises. Astonishingly moving.
The way she says "but you know what" is just...I can't even explain it
Best ending ever to a album
Either this or famous last words from the seeds of love..
Played it until the cassette tape broke.
Such a relief hearing this from the bleak but brilliant hello earth. Pulls you from through darkness
the bass really makes this tune pop.
One of the most memorable songs it's ever been my pleasure to hear.
This song pulls at my heart strings. Like my heart is part of the assemble. This song makes me think of love, love loss, new beginnings and the hope of what life will be. It's so beautiful but yet so sad.
Mat, the words you wrote here in the comments saying - "my heart is part of the assemble" - that sentence, and description, should be the title of a song. Beautiful words.
Kate knows how to musically put life in perspective while MrMarrs knows how to beautifully and visually accompany her music.
Thank you so much for this Video. Kate was my first love when The dreaming released. I was only 11 years old. Now I am 52 years old and still loving Kate so much. She is the most beautiful Lady ever and the best female songwrither ever. Kate is a huge part of my life. Love from Germany ❤🎉
This Kate video - "The Morning Fog" was one of the first UA-cam videos I made.
I didn't know how to use the editing system on the computer at the time.
I had no idea what I was pressing.
I knew the song of by heart, so I just went with that. And my imagination.
It was the start of my creative learning. Which never ends.
I'm encouraging you @JP-w8jd in this message by the way
My favourite Kate song♥️
Without a doubt, one of the best albums ever made.
Such a haunting, soulful voice and some of the best bass work ever committed to tape.
Mick Karn was so wonderful. I will be forever in awe of his playing.
@@Sklak His playing on Tin Drum was also exceptional. Good times, great music.
So true! Danny Thompson, Eberhard Weber and DEL!
maybe only joni mitchell touches my heart as much as the wonderful Kate Bush.such a totally unique and utterly beautiful performer and person.a true inspiration to all women and men.
+David Simpson My mom went to High School with Joni. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, C 1960
+Kevin Larson Joni wrote and sings a song called This Flight Tonight. I saw NAZARETH in concert in Saskatoon, 1978/79 and they sing her song, too. Same lyrics. Listen to the two and laugh!!!!
Jack T Ripper right on the money!!! X
Godlike in the flesh.. prayers and love come from this piece of genius. Xx
I have listened to her in peace and I have listened to her through two tours in Africa. Saw my world get torn apart in a nanosecond. Over the years, Kate helped put it back together again. She is truly a singer to our souls
Yes. But I was in the French Foreign Legion 2 REP, touring. .)
Lols.......I remember our signals boys with those bicycle style contraptions generating electricity ...pedals on the go and Kronenbourg in one had
Pmsl...I had a buddy, was totally amazing ...could send morse, receive it and have a conversation with you while having a few Kronenbourg
Kro is an aquired taste and once yer hooked it.s on. I drink Busch today and Apple Cider 5-7% , no more hard stuff since 1989. The Legion owns 70% of the Kro breweries in France....
1664 is also yummy...but an acquired taste...nuch like Guiness
There was always going to be a Catherine Bush in our lives. And we have to thank Robert, Hannah, John, Paddy, Danny and Bertie, for giving us this one.
And David! Someone would have discovered her, but he did! Gilmour put his money where his mouth was and we can all be very, very grateful :-)
@@jamieyoung9392 Very true, Jamie. He knew what he was doing.
The perfect ending to her intense and brilliant "The Ninth Wave" shipwreck masterpiece - redemption from death, saved from drowning at sea, and a new appreciation of life and loved ones. Pure genius. And a nice touch on the fan made video, that's Kate's real mom that she is hugging (and her dad in the group shot).
mvellis yes. That is Kate Bush's own stated intention of the piece, that the album ends in rescue.
However I think my earliest interpretation was as "end of struggle, acceptance of fate and slipping into the comfort of oblivion.
Regardless of interpretation this is one of my favourite songs from probably my favourite album by Kate Bush.
I can remember first getting into this album in 1990 which is a bit late but I had just started discovering the wonder of kate and I used to cycle to work every morning through the most amazing country side and I was 18 that year and I became engrossed in the album. My first album was lion heart and then the hounds of love and then my favourite the kick inside and then never for ever and then the sensual world..the track that brought me into her music was the man with the child in his eyes and i did already like wuthering heights. I was lucky enough to get to see her in London at the before the dawn show in 2014..
You explored, which is precisely what Kate wants us to do!
You discovered,related,remembered,experienced,that is her magic,her intent,and you recieved it,BRAVO!🥰
Magnificent video that matches the song. 'The ninth wave' is my favourite Kate Bush masterpiece. A masterpiece amongst masterpieces. Some say it is a Christian grouping of songs, others,a pagan/wiccan album, others,a reincarnation theme. Perhaps we shall never know. The beauty of her music is that it is so inherently interpretive,it creates an anthem inside all her fans. She wants you to go into your own mind, heart, and tell your own story to yourself! Kate Bush, the goddess of creativity!
D'y'know what? I love you better now.
Best album ever!
Simple beautiful song
This was incredible live.
Jealous 🥰
Only one problem with this song. I want it to play on forever and it doesn't.
Hello. I felt the same about this song the first time I heard it. I wanted it to be longer. I longed for it to be longer. 🙂
There is a live (longer version) of this beautiful song on Kate's 'Before The Dawn' live album.
Quite agree a stalwart album and wore it out….Then came along The Sensual World and my love affair with Kate went exponential. One of a kind artists. 🙏🏼
The rainbow after the storm.
I kiss the ground...
It waters my eyes and aches my heart …. Beautiful
Perfect song, absolute beauty. And pictures...left me breathless
Love you Kate
Chills. Exquisite music and performance by Kate.
It was really beautiful. I cried...
My morning prayer, I'm being born again... godlike xxxxxxx
I wish this song was longer, it's my favorite on the album with "The Big Sky". This song remind me African music that my father Played on car...
This is Sublime Kate Bush about her Best track (-with abut 50 second-bests! esp. on Kick Inside, Sensual world and H.O.Love) This is what being a Whole and Spiritual Human-being begets! 😊🙏🧡
Best song on Hounds of love
Oops
Just brilliant like the rest of the hounds of love album I all so been listening to the hounds of love since 1985 just amazing
"I tell... how much I love them." But you can't & that's the beauty & that's the sadness....
you're right... and yet, she gets as close as one can get
That's makes this song even deeper, deeper.
Kate bush for Grammy Award👌👌👌👌👌👌
.. for President! ;-)
Brilliant. I am here again.
Pure beauty
Best song ever. Period.
Absolutely bloody fantastic. 😢
Absolutely Beautiful! ❤️
Guys although Mick Karn is an amazing bassist and Eberhard Weber played on Mother stands for comfort it is actually Del Palmer on this track and amazing he is too.
I had thought it was Eberhard Weber. I stand corrected. Great bass playing indeed on this track. Mick Karn was fantastic and is sorely missed.
Sublime
Play Kates Nocturn on the best loud stereo you can find if it has a graphic equaliser all the better. When it's over, try and think what you would follow it with. When you draw a blank, turn the lights off, go to bed, and turn to dust.
The storm passes and thanks are given....the earth is loved by its inhabitants...thanks to Mother Earth......Beautiful illustration...
Wonderful music by a wonderful human being.
i tell kate bush, HOW MUCH I LOVE HER........
Beautiful...
Such a beautiful song.
Klate Wilson yes, so very very beautiful :)
I had the incredible privilege of seeing Kate in September in London and as unbelievable as it was, I was managing to hold it together pretty well until this song, of course, the "happy ending" of the Ninth Wave and I completely lost it with the opening chords. Must have gone through a whole box of tissues. Just watched all of your Ninth Wave videos and I can honestly say they are the next best thing to being there watching her live. Thanks again Mr. Marrs!
Thanks, that's a beautiful story Lisa. What amazing memories for you to hold in your heart. I went to the show three times. The first time I watched it I was really quite overwhelmed, and full of so many emotions. I was told later by my partner and my sister that I did not let go of their hands for most of the show. The next couple of nights I saw the show by myself, and on the last night I saw it, when I was sitting in the auditorium during the interval, I was watching everyone in the crowd and they were all so excited and so full of joy, and that's when all of my emotions just came out. I had no tissues so I just wiped the water away with my t-shirt. The whole experience was one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. There was so much love, and I could see and feel that energy throughout the whole theatre, and also outside the theatre. And I was also very very very proud of Kate. That was the strongest emotion for me throughout the whole thing. Just being genuinely happy and proud for her.
@@MrMarrs Beautiful story, and I'm a huge fan of your videos. This one is particularly lovely - THANK YOU. xoxoxo
Great track ...vocals and video...from the best English female songwriter...of the past 40 years.....Melanie 33 🌈❤️
so, so lovely...
What a stunning video!
I simply can not get over her voice I can not figure it out! I wish I heard this song years ago. I only told my mother how much I loved her during her last year. I would ask her mother do you know that I love You!? And she would always say yes. I was then asking her how do you know? And she always answered - I feel!
Avshalom Hillel ❤️❤️
I regret that I never took every opportunity to tell my mum that I loved her and admired her. And now it's too late.
@@rw8733 no it's not.
One of the first Cds I ever bought. Still brilliant now.
Wonderful bass
Absolutely agree! Del Palmer's role in Kate's masterpiece is mostly underappreciated
One of my very favorite Kate Bush songs and an EXCELLENT video backdrop.
A video for the soul....thank you for the gift.
Just pure brilliance in kates lyrics and your visions....thank you
Fantastic ! I'm so happy I can watch this !
+Edgar Heathcliff Thank you for telling me this Edgar. x
fantastic video
Such a beautiful voice and song
Mr. Marrs, I listened to this suite of songs every night for more than ten years. And you have given me another reason to listen to them again.
Great video, hypnotizing wonderful music. Kate is not from this universe....
I graduated from high school the year this album came out, and now in my mid-50s, it is still a heartwarming listen..
I've loved this song since the record came out in 1985 and especially that track. I would crank it up and jam. The feeling of joy is so incredible. Also, as a bassist and guitarist, I love the textures of the nylon string guitar and fretless bass work. Awesome video post. I thank you for sharing.
Exquisite
Great pictures to go with Kate's stunning music!
That was so beautiful. Assault on the senses.
This is the type,of clip you can watch over and over again and notice new things.
So well designed + sweetest song ever.
Kate is so pure in this fantastic song.
Great job for the video, man.
One of my very favourite songs. And this video is the one I always choose to accompany it. Thank you. x
simply amazing! exactly as the song, and the way i could imagine, too... lovely! i'm watching them all!
Dieser Song nach "Hello Earth" - einfach wunderschön & berührend; thanks a lot!!!!
Are you God? I have no words.....
This is the final song from the suite known as “The ninth wave” ,it is a story of a woman who escapes drowning, and the resulting realization of love.
Of love!
Yesss.
Do you know what? I love you better now.
Love the 2 yips at father & the 3 at brothers. So unexpected & yet so perfect.
Wunderschönes Video! Ich liebe dieses Lied
Absolutely beautiful....
Beautiful video too accompany this wonderful song, thank you.
Wonderfully done and a beautiful soundtrack
How have I ever missed seeing this. Brilliantly edited. The most hauntingly beautiful voice to ever grace mother earh. In the movie She's Having a Baby, the song This Woman's Work, in the final scene, would make me sob uncontrollably ever time I watched it. John Hughes use of music to convey emotion has never been equaled imho. Now 27 years later, I find myself lying in bed with my feline soul mate, sipping a spot of tea and once again shedding a tear. Thank you MrMarrs.
Beautifully written Michael. Thanks for your comments. Cheers.
🥲 her music is so unique ❤ and a sensitive nature compilation ☁️
My favourite Kate Bush song with some stunning images. Wonderful.
Foggy morning and wanted to hear this. . .Thanks for putting such lovely visuals to a great song!
SO moving! These videos are absolutely fantastic.
Beautiful work on The Ninth Wave. Thank you good man. x
Thank you, Kate.
Found this just now. What a lovely, lovely tribute. Thank you so much for making and sharing this!
Agree with Sunny Sun... beautiful video for a beautiful song... and my favourite song of Kate Bush, top work
Brilliant. Well done.
