So good to see you again Elaine. So happy to hear you have moved into your new home. I hope you and your family will be very happy in your new home. Your craft room looks amazing 😊❤
Congratulations on your new move! I’m glad you’re settling in. How nice to have a craft room to yourself. Your cheese full coverage is so close to being done. I can’t wait to see it finished!
Hi Ellie I am so happy for you and your New Home. Yeah. Love all of your WIPS - you are making great progress on them. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵🍂🍁☕️❤️
So happy to see you back. Pink house sampler is amazing. Cheese delivery soooooo close. So happy you managed to get moved. I can see why you loved the back yard garden. The view is fantastic. I can't believe how many out buildings you have. There seems to be a space for everything. Omg your own crafting space is awesome. Looking forward to your next video and more pictures of you beautiful home and location. I am in British Columbia, Canada and love seeing your little corner of the world. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment 😊 I think your part of the world is very special too!! Somewhere I very much want to visit one of these days! Take care xx
Man, you must be exhausted. And still had a lot of stitching to show. Loved seeing your garden and craft room. Your dogs are beautiful and so sre your chiskens.
Happy Belated Birthday!! Your garden and the view are so nice!! Community is such a great thing! I need to reach out to my neighbors more than I do! Happy stitching. I hope you enjoy your new home.
Lovely to see you back! Congratulations on your finished piece and on the almost finished Cheese Delivery, it does look reaaaaly cute, you are absolutely right! I do not know the proper wish for a new house, but may you live plenty of joyful moments in it! I can almost feel the breeze and enjoy that "green" air while stitching on that little blue bench on your garden, near the chickens. I would love to see again the Salem Trial displayed and the other finish on the back of your door, love them both! I would love to see those two metallic threads stitched, the blue and the grey, they look amazing - I did not get their name.
The metallic threads are Madeira threads. I’ve never used them before so I will let you know what they are like once I’ve tried them. Thanks for your lovely comment 😊
Hi Elaine! I´m late to the party, I´m sorry: Happy birthday! And what a wonderful house! I loved to see how you are living now, it´s amazing! I love your hens and dogs and your garden is so great, hope you feel well there! In Germany we give bread and salt and a penny to somebody who moved for luck, hapiness and lots of money, and this are really my wishes. Hope you show us more about your house and garden, looking forward to your next video, stay save and get healthier soon! Hugs!
It is so good to see an upload from you, that FINISH is just a wow as is Sally's. Cheese Deliver is SO SO SO CLOSE!!! Congrats on moving house but what an undertaking! I am a bit all over the place with WIPGO plans as well. I feel it made my year more intense but I did get a whole lot done and I did like the randomness of it. I did find that I wasn't able to really stitch on the projects that were calling to me and I want to listen to that voice in the coming year. I definitely want to get at least 1 full coverage done this year and the dedication to that will make other things fall off a bit. Happy Stitching and thanks for the videos
I always enjoy seeing your progress pics on IG. You have some gorgeous projects ❤ I might just go with the flow next year and pick one or two focus pieces and go random with the rest!! Take care xx
Congratulations Elaine on both your very special birthday and your very special house move, wishing you every happiness in your new home. Cheese delivery looks amazing - I have got it kitted up but have just put the last stitches into Forest Santa and Reindeer ( the one Lauren’s Mum did), so I’m going to take a couple of months break and enjoy stitching a few charts that have been waiting patiently for some attention.
WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO THAT HANK OF GORGEOUS SILK!!!!!! LMAO! your right I was in horror 😲 On a serious note, I loved your update and so so pleased for you to have finally moved and what a gorgeous place to live, the view is beautiful and I am sure you will enjoy all your time in the garden and craft room. xx
Hi Ellie! For your chain stitch heart - make a heart template in cardboard and trace around it lightly with a very sharp 3b pencil. Then do your chain stitch over that. Stem stitch would also work. Mxx
So happy to see you back on flosstube 😊. Love the finish on the Gorgeous Big Pink sampler. Will look great when framed. There was a picture framer in the village called Valley, where the military have an airfield. They were busy framing a lovely diamond picture when we called in a few years ago. Busy crocheting a poppy whilst watching your flosstube and enjoying all your progress, especially the Cheese Delivery, really looking forward to seeing it finished. Have just been enabled by Michelle of Momma loves you gb and downloaded the Witch gothic sign chart from CoolGothicStitch. Well worth a look!!😊 The views from your garden looks lovely. Belated Happy Birthday!!
Hi Helen, yes I know the framers you mean but he has just had a hip replacement and is convalescing so no framing at the moment. I know the chart you mean as I watch Michelle’s Sunday briefing every week. One of the days when you are on the island perhaps we can meet up, I would really like that 😊take care and happy stitching xx
Hi Elaine, huge congratulations on your birthday, finish and your move, hope you are settling in well. Not much to do on Cheese delivery, we will be seeing that finish very soon. Xxx
So pleased you finally got moved. It looks absolutely idyllic, I’m very envious. I’ve just finished the iron flame after reading your recommendation of the fourth wing and I’m quite amazed at the symmetry of our book reading authors. I read the lost bookshop early in the summer, and I also read Rachel Abbott and Ken Follet. Looking forward to seeing your house tour when you’re ready xx
Hi Sherrie, oh yes we definitely have similar taste in books!! 3 more books in the Empyrean series, one a year until 2026 😮 I also love lots of your wips so I think we have some similarities there too!! Hope to meet you at a retreat one of these days, I’ve a feeling there would be not much stitching and a whole lot of gassing 😂😂😂 take care xx
I so enjoyed the visit Elaine and Congratulations on the Gorgeous Big Pink house sampler...looks Amazing and I wouldn't worry about adding that flower, it looks Amazing as is. Glad yall got moved and settled but sorry it took so long for you to drive there....7 hours is a long time. Its a beautiful place you have and love the craft room, chicken coop, and garden...all that area is so pretty and looks so relaxing. And stop saying your waffling 😂....I call it visiting, so waffle or visit away...I love it when you do. Others can click off if they don't enjoy a nice visit. Hope you have a great couple of weeks and your getting so close to finishing Cheese Delivery 😊WOW!!! Happy Stitching ❤, JoDee
So lovely to see you back Elaine. I’m glad your move went well and I hope you will be very happy in your new home. You are so close on Cheese Delivery. It is just amazing. All of your stitching is looking lovely and love your start on SAGA. So happy that you loved your little gift and hope you had a fantastic birthday. Happy stitching my friend. Take care 😊 x
Thanks Sally 😊 settling in very well now, don’t think I would want to go back to the hustle and bustle of Essex again!! Hope you are ok. Take care my lovely friend ❤ xx
Great to see you Elaine. Sorry i missed your birthday. I didn't know you'd moved either, when i last asked it had been delayed and i didn't want to bother you. Glad it went well except for seven hour journey. Your home looks huge😃. Inside and out. Hoping you have a long and happy time there. Its amazing how friendly neighbours make a world of difference. Take care, enjoy life🤗
Hi Ange, you are never a bother to me that I promise you xx I have been a bit distracted with packing and moving but things are more settled now so stay in touch. I hope all is well with you. Take care my lovely friend xxx❤
So good to see you again. I'm glad your move is over and you are slowly settling in. What a VIEW!! Fabulous! And all of those outbuildings...Love it all. Congrats, Elaine, on such a perfect new home. I wish you a hundred years of happiness in it. BTW - 60 is nothing; wait till you hit 70!! That one really struck a chord with me. But now that I'm 71, bring it on!! LOL! Steph in NJ x
Hi Steph, thanks for your lovely comment. I’ve stopped worrying about age now, it is what it is isn’t it? Now I just think, I wouldn’t be where I am now without all the experiences I’ve had along the way so what the heck 😊 take care xx
Hi Ellie, I just found you! What a lovely new craft room! Love your garden, chicken coups. Enjoyed seeing your projects, finishes (May be putting some on my wish list. So glad to hear your book reviews, especially to find out Ken Follett has a new book (my Mom likes his books). So thank you that will be a Christmas gift for her). I look forward to future videos and as time permits to view past videos. God Bless you in your new home and Happy Stitching from North Carolina/USA
I'm so glad you got moved and are settling in nicely in your neighborhood and town. Beautiful wips stitching. And, your Saga start is very pretty. Your garden and back yard is lovely. Thank you for the tour of your craft room. I think you will have some wonderful stitching hours in the future in there. ❤
SO good to see you Elaine. Really pleased you are moved in to your new house, which looks beautiful. Your craft room and garden are fabulous too. Nice treat to see the fur babies 🐶 🐶 😊. Well done on getting any stitching done in the middle of a move! Thanks for sharing.
So good to see this update Elaine! Very happy that you’ve made it to your new home and it looks fabulous! What a great garden and that view is splendid. And how great to have your very own stitching annexe! It already looks great and the dresser will really make it. Very much looking forward to catching up with you in a couple of weeks - hope the journey is quicker this time. xx
Thank you for my little mention, I do have to admit something though- I started SAGA a little before your birthday! I’m sadly not one that can ever be accused of being a speedy stitcher. I’m really loving stitching it though, and I love the fabric and floss you’ve chosen. Can’t wait to see it come together ❤
Congratulations again on your move to Wales Elaine. I'm glad it went well 😊 thank you for the little tour too, look at that beautiful view! Just relax and let it sink in before you make decisions about work etc. You deserve it. 😊
Pleased you have settled. If you fancy a trip to the mainland Bernard's in Craig y Don (close to Llandudno) do framing, they have a lady who laces cross stitch and a wide range of frames and mounts x x
Lovely to catch up with you and see that you have moved. When you showed Cheese Delivery I said WOW out loud! You have made excellent progress and I cant wait to see it finished. x
Hi Ellie fabulous flosstube 🎉love your craft room❤ the notions bag I sent you was from Cannylittlefox on Etsy I couldn’t make one as professional as that 😂
Congratulations on the move. Sending belated birthday wishes. Your full coverage piece is wonderful. Beautiful garden and all the free space behind your home. Such fun to decorate your craft room and make it yours.
Thank you so much Sarah for your lovely comment 😊 I’ve only recently discovered your lovely channel and I love watching!! You have fantastic projects, very enabling 😂 take care 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Belated happy birthday and congrats on the move. Loving cheese delivery and looked forward to seeing it finished next time Nimble thimble between Oswestry and Welshpool does framing and is also an LNS so added bonus there not sure how far it is from you but should be a straight forward trip down the A55 and then A483. If you do ever decide to go down let me know and I’ll try and meet you there (if you want that is!) same goes I’d you ever decide on a trip to Chester
Thanks so much for the birthday wishes xxx yes I would be delighted to meet up!! I have been to the nimble thimble and absolutely loved Chris’ shop, could have easily spent all day there. It is quite a way from me but definitely let’s plan something for after Christmas, weather permitting of course!! Take care 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Hi Elaine! I see a new house room! I am so happy that your move was finally completed! Congrats on your BAPH finish! That is a big piece to complete in less than a year, especially with the sale of your home and your move. OMG, what fantastic progress on Cheese Delivery! So very close to a beautiful finish! Wow, less than 2% left, so cool🐭, so excited for you. Welcome to the 60s. Really like the colorway you have chosen for LDS Saga. very pretty. I have never stitched with the Madeira metallics but love their silks, so will looking forward to how you feel about their metallic thread. How cool is it to have pheasants come in to see you! Pheasants are getting so rare here in the U.S. Love your garden area. Everything is so green now there, as it is here in Texas since we finally got some rain. Are you headed into winter there as well? Lost my stitching bug for about 5 days the beginning of the month but it is back now, thankfully. Kept Walter for my first back-to-back overnight, had him from 4 p.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Wednesday while his mom worked the election and recuperated from the long day afterwards. He is growing up way too fast. He continues to amaze me with his understanding of what a lot of words mean and being able to use them correctly in a sentence. He will be 3 in January and is so smart. He loves digging in the dirt out back and will say "have go to work, it's hard work but got to do it", etc. He brings me so much joy. I am so happy that you are enjoying your new home despite all the hard work in moving and commuting back and forth for special events. Take care and happy stitching! Dawn
Hi Dawn, lovely to hear your news. Glad things are a bit cooler for you now. Sounds like you have been having fun with Walter, I think it’s brilliant when they really get into chatting with you isn’t it. Salad your stitchy bug is back!!! How’s your health now? Hope you are back to full mobility xx take care lovely ❤
@@elliewelliestitcher Walter really does bring me so much joy that it is so worth the pain that I am in for a couple days later. He still needs to be lifted or boosted some, especially when he wants to wash his hands and soon will begin the lifting on the potty. I will never be back to full mobility due to the arthritis and the fibro but I deal with the daily pain most days without narcotics. I have a doctor's appointment next week and am glad I do since I found a hard mass in my abdomen between the skin and the subcutaneous tissue so need to get that looked at and any possible surgery scheduled to remove it. Have to go in January for a repeat colonoscopy to make sure the masses have not returned as well but I would not be surprised if the largest one has recurred based on symptoms. Have been losing more weight without trying so now am up to around an 80-pound weight loss in the last 3 years without doing anything, which I could definitely stand to lose but it is a bit worrisome as to why. Thank you for asking. I enjoying chatting with you.
Glad the move went well, and that you are settled in to your new viillage life. Cheese delivery is looking amazing. Jealous of your craft room and loving the garden.
I'm so pleased for you on your successful move it looks amazing. What lovely views you have. Happy chickens, happy dogs. Love seeing your progress on your wips. Thanks for sharing. Take care and happy stitching. 😊
Congratulations 🎉 on your new home, your finish, and your almost finish on Cheese Delivery. Beautiful stitching and great video again. Love the craft room, your garden, and the great view! As far as plans and WIPGo, I’d take some time and just do what you want for a few months or a year. We moved right after I retired, too, and both things together take some adjustment. Enjoy your new digs! 😊
Hi Denise, it’s lovely having a big craft room, I can soon fill it with stash though lol!! I think you are right, I might just not have any goals next year and just stitch what I feel like!! Take care xx
So pleased for you that your move has finally happened and you have such a lovely new home. Quite jealous of your chickens- that’s a bit of a dream of mine to have some one day. Cheese delivery is looking amazing- can’t wait to see that last little bit to finish it off xx
Thanks so much 😊 chickens were a dream of mine too and I do love having them. Might add a couple more hens in the spring, they are really funny to watch as well. Hope you get the chance to get some one day xx
How good to see you settled in your proper place! I loved the look of your back yard, so many extra wee spots and that craft studio is just …oh my god, craft goals right there!! Hope you are enjoying a break from the pressure of working the 9 to 5 and get heaps of stitchy time (although I can imagine the daydreaming that goes on as you look out the window…. Take care, Nic x PS Cheese Delivery looks amazing!!!!
Hi Nic, yes I do spend time just gazing out the window daydreaming, how did you guess 😂😂 I can’t wait to start planting some veggies and things in the garden but it’s wrong time of year now. It’s not majorly cold yet but it’s pretty wet. I bet things are warming up nicely in your part of the world!! Take care xx
I'm so glad to hear that you've moved successfully and are so contented! You're projects look amazing, your pink house and cheese delivery are just so stunning. Thanks for sharing and Happy Stitching!
For someone who packed a house, moved, unpacked and cleaned the new house, you’ve made a lot of progress! Enjoy your new home! For framing, Nimble Thimble does it. Also, if you go to same retreats as Zarina (Hawkins Hobbies), her husband does framing too and you can discuss options etc there.
Beautiful finish & you're so close to finishing Cheese Delivery! You must be so excited! I love your she-shed/craft room! You've got lots of potential in there! I'm looking forward to seeing how you get it all organized. I didn't see a kettle and teapot out there though. That would be a deal breaker for me. I need to have my cup of tea sitting far away so I don' t knock it over! Great to see you back, great that you got the move done! Take care!
Hi Sue, I have been taking my tea with me from the house, I never thought of putting a kettle in my craft room 🤦♀️ it is now on my to do list, thanks !! Take care xx
Congrats 🎉 on your new home and wonderful stitching room ! I understand just wanting to get Cheese Delivery done. It is looking awesome. Once it is finished are you going to work on your Blueberry dragon?
Elaine! How have you retired from work, packed up and moved house, nearly finished cheese delivery, stitched on other WIPs and made a Flosstube when all I’ve managed to do is go to work and the housework?! Seriously!!! The only conclusion I can come to (as I’ve always suspected) is I’m a lazy cow! 😂😘
Ha, ha, it wasn’t to difficult when I wasn’t working, but that’s about to change!! Missed you at the weekend!! Look forward to catching up in January my lovely friend xx
@@elliewelliestitcher Was so jealous of you all at the weekend 😂. Can’t wait for January, a week off culminating in the stitch day is what’s keeping me going through 10 weeks of working 5-6 days and the prospect of my mother in law staying at Christmas for 5 nights!😂😘
Why on earth would you want to move from Essex to Wales?! Said an Essex girl who wants to move to Pembrokeshire 😂😂 Well done on your pink house finish! The cheese delivery looks amazing - I remember you starting that and thinking it would take a month of Sundays to finish and you’re nearly done!!
Ha,ha Jenny 😂😂 I was back in Essex at the weekend and apart from the fact it was lovely to see my stitchy friends again, I was very pleased to get back to Wales 😊 If you get the chance to move, do it, it’s a different world!! Take care xx
So good to see you again Elaine. So happy to hear you have moved into your new home. I hope you and your family will be very happy in your new home. Your craft room looks amazing 😊❤
Thanks so much xx
Congratulations on your new move! I’m glad you’re settling in. How nice to have a craft room to yourself. Your cheese full coverage is so close to being done. I can’t wait to see it finished!

Hi Sue, thanks for your lovely comment 😊 hope you are ok! Take care xx
I didn’t realise you had a flosstube 🤦♀️ found you now, so I can see your progress on Saga, you have some great projects too 😊 take care xx
What a beautiful place to live!!! Your craft room is a craft house!!! That is so awesome!
And cheese delivery is so close for a finish!! 😀
Hi Mildred, I hope you are keeping well. Thanks for your lovely comment xx
Congratulations again on your move to Wales Elaine. I'm glad it went well 😊 thank you for the little tour too, look at that beautiful view! Just relax and let it sink in before you make decisions about work etc. You deserve it. 😊
Thanks Melissa. Hope you are doing ok xx
Happy Belated Birthday 💐. great progress on your wips. beautiful location you’ve moved to. nothing like open countryside. thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment 😊
Fab video as always 😊 love the garden and craft room, so many sheds !!
You have a lovely craft room, garden and view. Cheese delivery is beautiful and so close to a finish. Happy Stitching 🤗
Thanks for your lovely comment 😊 happy stitching 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Pleased you have settled. If you fancy a trip to the mainland Bernard's in Craig y Don (close to Llandudno) do framing, they have a lady who laces cross stitch and a wide range of frames and mounts x x
Thank you for the tip Sue that’s really handy to know!!
Lovely to catch up with you and see that you have moved. When you showed Cheese Delivery I said WOW out loud! You have made excellent progress and I cant wait to see it finished. x
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Ellie fabulous flosstube 🎉love your craft room❤ the notions bag I sent you was from Cannylittlefox on Etsy I couldn’t make one as professional as that 😂
Angela your generosity was just so kind 🤗 ❤
Congratulations on the move. Sending belated birthday wishes. Your full coverage piece is wonderful. Beautiful garden and all the free space behind your home. Such fun to decorate your craft room and make it yours.
Thank you so much Sarah for your lovely comment 😊 I’ve only recently discovered your lovely channel and I love watching!! You have fantastic projects, very enabling 😂 take care 🧵🧵🪡🪡
So happy for you all Elaine, I love the post Prince has taken up guarding the chickens. Xx
Thanks so much. Yes Prince is very happy in his new garden 😊
Best wishes to you both in your new home (and the dogs too) Ellie! Enjoy!
Thank you so much 😊
Great projects. Your craft room looks great. I am happy for you that the move is behind you.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment 😊
Congratulations on the move, I’m sure you’ll be very happy 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Belated happy birthday and congrats on the move. Loving cheese delivery and looked forward to seeing it finished next time
Nimble thimble between Oswestry and Welshpool does framing and is also an LNS so added bonus there not sure how far it is from you but should be a straight forward trip down the A55 and then A483.
Thanks so much!
Oh Ellie your progress on cheese delivery makes me smile. Now I want to pick mine up
I really enjoy seeing your progress pictures on all your full coverage projects, they are amazing!!!
Wow your craft room is incredible.😍😍😍 Great progress on all your wips . Amazing video as always❤
Thanks Kayli ❤hope you are keeping well. Take care ❤ xx
I'm so pleased for you on your successful move it looks amazing. What lovely views you have. Happy chickens, happy dogs. Love seeing your progress on your wips. Thanks for sharing. Take care and happy stitching. 😊
Thanks so much for your lovely comment 😊 happy stitching 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Welcome back! Your garden looks like great fun. I like the size of your craft room. It looks very roomy. 😀
Thanks for your lovely comment 😊 yes I’ve got a lot more space now, which I’m pretty sure I can fill with things 🤦♀️ take care 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Thank you for your lovely comment, much appreciated 😊 take care xx
I love your yard! I'm so envious!!!
Can't believe how close you are to finishing cheese delivery.
Thank you for your lovely comment 😊
For someone who packed a house, moved, unpacked and cleaned the new house, you’ve made a lot of progress! Enjoy your new home! For framing, Nimble Thimble does it. Also, if you go to same retreats as Zarina (Hawkins Hobbies), her husband does framing too and you can discuss options etc there.
Zarina comes to our retreats 😊 I knew Chris at the Nimble Thimble did it too, but I’ve hopeful found a local framer now. Take care xx
Crafting of any kind without a nice cup of tea is just wrong! I hope you enjoy having one available whenever you want one!
Oh your cheese delivery is sooo close! Beautiful stitching, as always!
Thank you so much 😊
Congratulations on your big move! I always love to see Cheese Delivery, it looks amazing!
Thank you so much 😊
Congratulations on your move!
Thank you 😊
Congrats 🎉 on your new home and wonderful stitching room ! I understand just wanting to get Cheese Delivery done. It is looking awesome. Once it is finished are you going to work on your Blueberry dragon?
Yes my dragon is very high on my list to get back too once cheese delivery is done 😊take care and thank you for your lovely comment xx
Elaine!
How have you retired from work, packed up and moved house, nearly finished cheese delivery, stitched on other WIPs and made a Flosstube when all I’ve managed to do is go to work and the housework?!
Seriously!!!
The only conclusion I can come to
(as I’ve always suspected) is I’m a lazy cow! 😂😘
Ha, ha, it wasn’t to difficult when I wasn’t working, but that’s about to change!! Missed you at the weekend!! Look forward to catching up in January my lovely friend xx
@@elliewelliestitcher
Was so jealous of you all at the weekend 😂.
Can’t wait for January, a week off culminating in the stitch day is what’s keeping me going through 10 weeks of working 5-6 days and the prospect of my mother in law staying at Christmas for 5 nights!😂😘
Hi Elaine not watched you in ages x if you are still looking for a framer on the island there used to one in caemes bay
