I have been suffering because of these people who call themselves 'salafis'. They are so harsh and heartless. They don't tolerate ANYTHING. They call everyone kafir and mushrik, ahlul bid3ah? That is a big sin itself. It's crazy wallah. How could you have such bad akhlaaq, judge everyone, look down on scholars etc etc and still think you're the only right 'sect'. It's so sad. May Allah 'azza wa jal guide us all

I feel sorry for your experience, some have bad manners but that’s probably in the West. The way of the Salaf is nothing but Quran and Sunnah so be careful. Look into it and research before you make blanket statements as we all have stories to tell.

Not good to make a blanket statement of a whole group of people, just because some individuals claim to be a part of that same sect. Maybe you should do some research of what Salafiyah is before judging the call based on individuals. It's just as bad as the ignorant kuffar listening to the media believing all Muslims are terrorist. Do your own research.

    He's right.
    We follow our Habibs too.
Habib Umar bin Hafidz did celebrate it in Indonesia last night with other Habibs/Sayyids.
People follow them because of their adab and akhlak.
    They respect their students.
    Salaffists doesn't have it.
They only know how to insult, mock, and punish people.
Here they bombed places and killed hundreds of people.

Indeed the Messenger of Allah came out upon a circle of his Companions and said: ‘what has caused you to gather for this sitting?’ They said: ‘We have gathered for this sitting to remember Allah, and praise Him for His having guided us to Islam, and having bestowed blessings upon us.’ So he said: ‘By Allah, nothing caused you to gather for this sitting except for that?’ He said: ‘Indeed, I did not ask you out of suspicion, verily Jibra’il came to me and informed me that Allah boasts of you to the angels.’”

In our generation every Wahhabi is a scholar in Islam thanks to Sheikh Google bin Yahoo, Mufti Facebook and Imam Twitter al-Chrome.
I mean how can these people who rely [blindly follow/trust the translator] upon the English translations of Hadith books [that too fabricated] when the Great Imam Ibn Kathir رحمه الله felt the need to do Taqleed of Imam Shafi’i رحمه الله.
Over 1400 years old legacy VS Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Abdul Wahhab al-Najdi, Al-Albani and company.
Tbh most of them dont even buy those fabricated translations, they just do the Taqleed of Sheikh Google and the Wahhabi Imam of their Mosque.

One thing the sheikh didn't address is that people focus on this and don't focus on the Faraid. As the sheikh mentioned , people don't think of the Prophet peace be upon him so this day has been instituted as a means to sing his praises and remember him. Shouldn't the focus be to inculcate the love of Allah and His rasool in our hearts at all times. So move away from this day and hold regular sessions. Reminders. And encourage the following of the Sunnah is the true way to show our love for the messenger peace be upon him.
May Allah guide us all. Aameen.

I agree but laymen won't fast every Monday so when the actual birthday happens it's his way of fasting, watching or reading about the history of the holy prophet (PBUH), praising and singing to the prophet like the companions did. making Salawat, doing Tawasuul and reading the Qu'ran for an hour or more. Unfortunately, people have misunderstanding of the Mawlid and assume we only remember and praise him on this day when we should do it everyday but Mawlid is his actual birthday and a good practise for the laymen. Jazakallah Khair.

sorry in advance brother is that the faraid, or fardh?
I conclude what you mean is fardh not faraid, because faraid is about inheritance. if the problem is not focused on fardh, all muslims know fardh is an obligation that must be done. if a Muslim doesn't focus on fardh it depends on each person
      .
many miraculous events also happened at the birth of our beloved prophet in Islamic literature
      > The Extinguishing of the Fire of the God of Majusi which has not been extinguished for a thousand years, everyone unites both weak and strong to try to revive the fire. However, their efforts failed and the fire did not return to life.
      > the Palace of Kisra of the Persian King was shaken at that time, until 14 of his palace balconies fell.
      > Not only the fire of the Majusi, Lake Sawa in Iraq also became dry when the Prophet was born. Previously, the lake was a place for offerings of gods.
The birth of the best human being on earth was welcomed including his own uncle, Abu Lahab.
Abu Lahab was so happy to welcome his nephew's birth, he freed a slave named Tsuwaibah when our beloved Prophet born.
Isn't it that we love the Messenger of Allah the same as loving Allah too?
mawlid contains recite the Qur'an, read the sirah, sholawat [sunnah], gather fellow Muslims [sunnah] and eat with fellow Muslims [sunnah].

So what are you going to do with the other great scholars with more knowledge than us? Accept, respect and tolerate. Second of all Allah will reward and punish people based on their niyyah. This begs a Question who we should follow
    ....
as mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad himself,
The best of my followers are those living in my generation (i.e., my contemporaries), and then those who will follow them, and then those who will follow the latter."
(Sahih Bukhari, No. 3650; Sahih Muslim, No. 2533)
They know and understand the religion better and did not water it down.
The Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him)
    Remember this hadith -
Beware of newly invented matters, for every invented matter is an innovation (Bid'ah) and every innovation is a misguidance, and every misguidance leads to the Hellfire."
(Sunan Abu Dawood, No. 4607; Jami' at-Tirmidhi, No. 2676)
Therefore, celebrating Milad is a tradition that Muslims should be very careful and veer away from, we should ensure that our practices do not resemble the religious festivals of other faiths.
The prophet has warned us on imitation,
Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
    (Sunan Abu Dawood, No. 4031)

Jabir reported God’s messenger as saying, “To proceed:
The best discourse is God’s Book, the best guidance is that given by Muhammad, and the worst things are those which are novelties. Every innovation is error.”
    Muslim transmitted it.

Most ulama were of the opinion that it is allowed to do mawlid. There are only very few, like the Sheikh in the video mentions, i think maybe 3 who don't allow it. So really there is not such a difference as the Salafis claim. We should follow the majority. Its only the Salafis who follow the 3 ppl mentioned above and who go around calling it biddah.

I am sunni not sufi (the weird one to follow weird spiritual sheikh) and i am not a salafi/madgali and so on
I am a muslim and i always follow arguments on each subject
For myself i dont celebrate eid mawlid annabi on 12 rabi al-awwal
This because there are differents opinion about the day and month
And if i want to celebrate to be thankful i would fast on monday. I dont do it because of my work and so on
I am grateful with our prophet and i follow him in my life.
There are some groups on the mawlid
    1. The one who reject but are in peace with the other
2 the one who accept but are in peace with the other
    3. The rejector and who called the other mubtadi or kafir
    4. Acceptor who called the other daal-modil and kafir
In short, mawlid is not obligatory like salah fasting hajj and zakah
Sometimes it can be bida’ and some times it can be aloud it is a fiqh casus and the element on it decides what the conclusion will be. So be careful

Nobody said it was obligatory. It is recommended. And also, you can't go around picking and choosing what you fancy. You are not a Mufti.

The authentic way of every Muslims life is to celebrate every Sunnah of our Beloved Nabee-e-Kareem s. a.w. way of life daily. The holy Quran has stated that nobody is better than the other accept by virtuous. Our entire lineage comes from Adam A.S and every Prophet cane to teach the oneness of Almighty Allah.
Follow our Beloved Prophet Mohammed S. A. W. As he needs to be followed in our daily lives. We as Muslims dont have specific days in our lives except Fridays.
Our Beloved Nabee-e-Kareem S.A.W. said he will amongst the poor and will be raised amongst the poor there is a meaning to what he has said.
Yes, his linage or blood line does have a specialty, and that is by virtuous.
Our bloodline is linked to Adam A.S. all of us human beings.
The holy Quran is our guidance and the way of our Beloved Nabee-e-Kareem s.a.w. is our practical way of life. What he did we do and what he not do we should abstain from. Our religion is very simple.
Every single day of our lives, we should celebrate our Beloved Nabee-e-Kareem s.a.w. way of life. That's the way we will be judged.
Almighty Allah, forgive me if i have not spoken the truth Jzkl.khair
