SkippyTeal I just saw this pop up and was thinking he same thing. It must of been inspiration, it's s shame Adam didn't put 18,s o the front would of looked much more aggressive
Awesome to see some of the conversations between you and Alexi. Loved this Japan trip even with the technical difficulties with the car. Especially seeing both you and Nicole's reaction to the Tokyo car meet. Would love to see more of that in the next trip too. Thanks for the content.
Those trucks you mentioned with the attached cab are what I drive here in the UK, they're very common, known as class 3 lorry here, class 2s are slightly bigger and class 1s are the articulated ones.
actually these lorries which have the container up on the car are pretty common here in the EU as well! the big ones you are talking about are mainly for international transport, and supermarkets that have a lot to distribute around the country basically. Please document as much as you can, im dying to visit japan as soon as I possibly can!
Nicole the little red car that you liked is called a cappuccino. It’s made by Suzuki, and it is a brilliant little car they were actually contenders for the Miata. And they are also excellent leaner drift cars because the car weighs next to nothing and when you steer it does exactly what you want it to do. So it’s a great helper in learning car control.
Actually its a terrible drift car. How many people did you see at ebisu with a Cappuccino drift car? its short wheelbase is better suited for racing around circuits not drifting, same with the Miata. That being said its entirely possible to turn them into drift cars.
Thank you for the Y plate mention. Atsugi, Yokota, Yoksuka, and Zama are all pretty close to Daikoku. From Atsugi, if the traffic is right, I could leave the base and be in the PA in about 25 minutes.
At 9:15 that's a Suzuki Cappuccino. It's powered by a really good sounding 3 cylinder 660cc Turbocharged Engine. Sounds so nice, it's also got almost the same engine note as an RB26.
I lived in Yoko ( yakuska ) for 6 months back in 05 and i had friends that were picking up 4 door GTRs for LIKE $3k us. Everyone on the base had one. They were awesome. Great vid.
We have a lot of those type of trucks in europe aswell, and yes, it helps turning, cause the whole truck is shorter, and allso with a trailer on it you have the turning point at the middle, and not far forward, gives you a smaller overhang.
Its very interesting the amount of similarity to here in England (UK) i guessing its because were both RHD. like the fact we have those same rigid trucks but we also have the full articulated ones, kind of a mix. and the small sports cars aswell i'm guessing because the roads in the UK are very small aswell.
The trucks are rigid chassis-cabs. The reason is that they are way more maneuverable than an articulated "tractor/trailer" as you say. They take smaller loads, but are also more economical because they tend to use a diesel 6 cylinder engine. They're also demountable, so by undoing some M16 bolts along the chassis, you can remove the box van on the back, and replace it with either a Flat bed, Curtain sider, Bevertail & Crane, or even a subframe mounted Tipping body. Source: I build them.
Ohh you have a big Tokyo hotel :) We were so happy when we went to Kyoto and get a big north-European hotel-room. We got shock when we entered our hotel-room in Tokyo with my big electrical wheelchair, and also found out that the electric could not charge my battery for my wheelchair. We found solutions and had a great holiday. 1 evening after a long day we sit with our 2 sons in the bed with a girlfriend and eat Pizza. We had a fun evening that we will always remember. Wish you a nice travel home. Best wishes from Jan in Norway
Wow I really like this Tokyo Car Meet, but there is a lot cooler one in Tokyo, that is basically an underground parking spot full of expensive drift cars! If you can, check it out!
We have a bunch of Altezza's in Ireland. Great fun to drive! The beams engine puts out a really decent HP figure from stock! They sell for about €3000-6000 depending on condition, though many have already had the piss beaten out of them!
8:38 throwin shade at tj lmao
Adam has come so far to watch this is amazing to see how much he has progressed
Once a week upload... Yeah alexi yeah..........

10:13 Must have gotten some inspiration from that white RPS13 in the back with livery. For the R32? Right?!?+
SkippyTeal I just saw this pop up and was thinking he same thing. It must of been inspiration, it's s shame Adam didn't put 18,s o the front would of looked much more aggressive
7:55 my brothers at yukosko right now in the navy on a special missions tour
Awesome to see some of the conversations between you and Alexi. Loved this Japan trip even with the technical difficulties with the car. Especially seeing both you and Nicole's reaction to the Tokyo car meet. Would love to see more of that in the next trip too. Thanks for the content.
Actually in GB and whole europe these trucks with on mouted boxes are very popular and one of them like Mitsubishi can be bought too
and you can also often put a trailer behind those you just have to use a dolly in the front and of course have a higher license
Gedas alekveravičius yeah I had no clue what they were on about until the year said something about trucks
Those trucks you mentioned with the attached cab are what I drive here in the UK, they're very common, known as class 3 lorry here, class 2s are slightly bigger and class 1s are the articulated ones.
The scene in Japan is crazy!
thedownshiftchannel you guys should go!

If Adam loves Nicole he wouldn't lmao, if you hit a pothole wrong in that thing it's going to crumple.
With all the cars they already have, having a useless RHD car, is not the best idea, don't you think?
your my favorite UA-cam I've been subscribed for 3 years now!

the 1st one was a suzuki cappuccino the second was a dihatsu copen (i think) but second definetly wasnt a cappuccino
6:26 were those Toyota Soarers. I love the Toyota Soarer. I have seen 2 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Pearl white and a black one. So amazing.
Michael Bacon those were Nissan s15s.
s15 Silvias
Anyone notice how no one is revving their engines and doing donuts at the meet .
SilviaVert is this your first time watching a car meet in japan...? they never do that stuff.
Well not always, when there are bosozoku cars there, people get rowdy
Clean cars out there geeeeeez....u should bring a cresta home..future project!
Noriyaro and once a week are 2 things that don't typically go together.
The small silver car with the round rear lights is a dihatsu copen
The first little car was a cappuccino the second silver car was a copen
Joe Allan storey the copen is such a crappy car but it's soooo cute, I thought about getting one when I was 18
Metal Fruttolo it’s not often you see either over here in the UK but I much prefer the cappuccino myself
Its very interesting the amount of similarity to here in England (UK) i guessing its because were both RHD. like the fact we have those same rigid trucks but we also have the full articulated ones, kind of a mix. and the small sports cars aswell i'm guessing because the roads in the UK are very small aswell.
