- According to Article 15 of the Indian Constitution, one should not be discriminated on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. But as irony would have it, people have been discriminated on the same grounds again and again. This video is a satirical take on society & its thinking. Imagine if there was a ‘Throne of Equal Opportunities’ and yet it would have rules that would discriminate against the taker of the throne, won’t that be an irony in itself? Well, you need to watch this video to know more.

Have you ever been discriminated on the basis of Age, Religion, Tribe, Identity, Caste, Language, Ethnicity?
Caste system is unique to India. Every caste thinks that they are below some caste and superior to some caste. Irony is that the hierarchy is also within Sc/st. Socially the ultimate gainers in this system are the top rung of caste system and the communities belonging to the bottom are the most exploited. One more irony is that religions other than Hindu have also absorbed the caste system.
It has been 70yrs since but the caste system is still existing because of a single reason that is our political parties who want to cling onto power using caste card.
To all those born with sliver spoon babies did you ever visit rural areas!! People live in jungles in the mouth of lions, leopards.
They don't have luxurious cars just like u. They wake kms daily. And some of their child came out and got admission in higher educations through #reservations thn you all come up to torture them mentally with this typical lines 'you guys don't deserve it, you come here with half of our rank, are you touchable, do you know English, look at his clothes, name's etc....
In now days it's been trend to all medical engineering colleges the faculties start torturing a student from SC, ST. They don't even listen them, if they go with some query professors laugh on them and say its not in your hand out of your capacity" is this all things you guys can tolerate?? No no never.... You jacked all things with either money or contacts!! Bcoz some of your known definitely on higher posts But what about those who don't have that much money neither Connections ¡! They can't even tell all this to their homies bcoz they already suffering from some else problems.
Even in my college in last 2years 22 from24 admission cancelled by student themselves. As they can't tolerate daily abuses.
You all say that reservations is unfair have you ever behave fair with lower cast..??
If some of "not much as you are" but someof come out with good status 'doctor engineers CA ' thn what's wrong in it!! They accepted they are not capable as you all bcoz they don't get facilities just like you all got., from childhood they go through this discrimination.mental torture, even malnutrition.
I hope this movie open up some higher castes eyes. 🤞🙏

Yes. I am sudra and I live in that colony where there is rajput, bhumiyaar and Brahman. My father is Kidney patient and recently he is in hospital but no upper caste come and stand with us. BJP sarkar mein ye aur jyada ho gya hai.

Each word is true but no authority pay attention to it bcz the benefits from it is wide. Ambedkar suggested reservation for SC and ST caste for a period of 20 years only as a token of encouragement. Now, it is a weapon to political games. What to do... Literacy is increasing only to earn good but not to build the country more civilised and more global
Bcoz current govt consists of a high %tage of illiterates. Schools a plenty but no teachers employed as for this govt beti padaho only lip service.
The caste system can be eradicated but our politicians won't because if it is eradicated they can't use the divide and rule system.

What the fuck are you talking about, just yesterday i read an article about how Dalits are denied water from village common wells, denied seating in panchayati sabhas and a lot more in majority of villages in Gujarat. This is also happening in other parts of country to this day. Caste based discrimination creates social backwardness and reservation is for giving these people a push, a chance to stand at an equal footing and be a part of mainstream india. You can't treat people like second class citizens for 100s of years and expect they become empowered with no backwardness in 20 years just by reservation. Also, Ambedkar did not said that we need reservation for 20 years and if he was alive today, he'd be depressed for the sad state of affairs in this country with news like that medical student being driven to suicide bc of caste based bullying. How can you suggest no reservation is beyond logic to me.
Mr Ambedkar had proposed reservation for a period of time. True but not to encourage but to provide equal opportunity and even more importantly equal representation. You need to look at surveys of how many SC and ST hold government positions to see though untouchability has reduced in public drastically things haven't changed much with reference to representation.

People keep refering to Mr Ambedkar proposing reservation for a period of time. Which is true but has it really achieved what it was meant to provide. The main aim of reservation was to equal opportunity and even more importantly equal representation. Which hasn't happened as yet. You just need to look at surveys of how many SC and ST people hold government positions. Yes untouchability has reduced in public drastically but things haven't changed much with reference to representation. Only with representation will there be empowerment.
It was political reservation which was proposed for a period of 10 yrs and not reservation in education ..
Reservation is abt representation... period!
@@nikhil5727 I wish you would read the debates of constituent assembly and also data on the situation of SC and St population pre independence. How do you expect people with no or little wealth, zero education to raise their children to excel academically at the same standers as people with privilege backgrounds. Political representation isn't enough. Representation in civil services is also important. However I am completely for people with a certain economic status shouldn't get reservation in academics however civil service's and politics is a different thing.

(1) The State shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them
