Keema aloo (mince & potato curry) ingredients
- 1kg Lamb Mince
- 3 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 2 Medium Onions (sliced)
- 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon each: Salt, Garam Masala, Ground Cumin, Ground Coriander, Garlic Granules
- 1/2 teaspoon each: Ground Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder
- 500g Potatoes (quartered)
- 500ml Water
Cajun Chicken Drumsticks ingredients:
- 2kg Chicken Drumsticks (with skin)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Garlic & Ginger Paste
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Onion Granules
- 1/4 cup Sunflower Oil
Bake @ 220c/200c fan for 30 mins
Pilau Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 4 Cloves
- 4 Whole Black Peppercorns
- 4 Green Cardamom Pods
- 3 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
- 2 Medium Onions (sliced)
- 3 Tomatoes (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic & Ginger Paste
- 1/2 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon each: Garam Masala, Ground Cumin, Ground Coriander, Ground Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 500g Potatoes (quartered)
- 1/4 cup Low Fat Greek Yoghurt
- 500ml Water
- 700g Basmati Rice (soaked & drained)
- 900ml Hot Boiled Water
Pasta Bake ingredients:
- 1kg Lamb Mince
- 250g Frozen Mixed Veg
- 1kg Pasta
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Red Onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic & Ginger Paste
- 1/2 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon each: Paprika, Mixed Herbs, Red Chilli Flakes
- 500g Passata
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
For the white sauce:
- 50g Butter
- 50g Plain Flour
- 500ml Milk
- 1/2 cup Grated Cheddar

You have no idea sis how useful this compilation is! Especially for someone like me who doesn't really organise and preplan my daily dinner. I always look for new ideas, see what other family eat, other cultures, as food is so universal and we can personalise it make it our own. Each to our unique taste buds. Salaam alaikum sis 😇 been watching your videos for years and Ma Sha Allah I really enjoy it...seriously it makes me happy when watching your videos😃...not to be the haraam police (we all know they are annoying) just gonna point out from a sister to another sister that KFC isn't halal becuz they slaughter the animal by electrocution first then they perform the islamic slaughter process. This is considered not halal at all as there shouldn't be any pain given to animal before slaughter. Also it's not HMC approved ...sorry sis I don't like to tell people whats halal or haraam but one of my followers pointed it out to me and I looked it up and found it to be true 😭😭😭😭 I loved KFC aswell in the past ...anyways I hope you don't mind maybe it be some kind of information for other Muslims to know this aswell 😇...Ramadan Kareem to you and your family 💕✌️

Shamsa let the liquid from the mince cook off, don't drain it, that's all flavour! Just cook on high heat and stir to stop it from burning.
Is it appropriate for a non-Muslim to gift folk food for Ramadan? My new neighbours are Muslim and refugees. I'd like to make them welcome but not sure if its okay to give an offering of food or drink for Ramadan? Also can I say Ramadan Mubarak or would that make someone uncomfortable a non-Muslim saying this?

Assalamualikum sister, Some Asda stores do have halal meat. Depends on the area. I used to live in Barking, East London, they have halal butchers inside that cut the meat for you, as well as pre packaged ones you can pick from the fridge. :)
