Well no, in Sonic the Fighters her name is Amy the Rascal, but in the American manual for CD they shagged up and named her Sally Acorn, a character from the Archie comics. I'm positive her canon name is Amy the Hedgehog, or maybe just Amy. Don't quote me on that. Not sure if it was a localization error, or translation, but it seems SEGA/Sonic Team has always had problems regarding translations and localization.
That's a good way of putting it canonically, and so by that logic, then the Eggman puzzle in SA1 could be considered the first step in accepting the name before he flat out calls himself Eggman, but of course that's all from a canon perspective of the Sonic universe, not taking into account the American localization which created the name Robotnik, which was as you know eventually retconned to streamline the different translations. Yeah, Black Doom is definitely the worst villain in a Sonic game ever. I liked the gunplay of Shadow, it really worked with the enemies having health bars, but that's really the only game where the health bars work. In Heroes it was quite a nuisance, as with every other game following Heroes, but I find in Shadow it was bearable, because you could pick up, say, an SMG to quickly deal with them.
As a rule, I never respond to trolling, or just plain assholes, but you deserve this one. Two things: In most cases, songs in this genre have lyrics that don't relate to the title. ALso, along with that, look at almost ALL of ADTRs songs, and tell me how many of the titles go with the lyrics. Second thing: @xScythful was just trying to maybe rationalise the title. In a metaphorical sense, he/she/it is right, not calling Tails a female. It's a metaphor to the relationship Tails and Sonic had.

For some reason in the American versions of the series up until Adventure 2, Eggman had been called Robotnik, after which they changed it to match the Japan versions. If Eggman was just a nickname, why would he name all his contraptions the "egg-something"? Why would there be egg-centric puzzles in his bases?

The music, the lyrics, and over all vibe that this song and all their other puts off is a perfect representation as to why A Day to Remember is The BEST Band out there in this genre. Its heart felt. Honest. Connecting. Its a Four Dimensional Experience. They break all boundaries, and create the highest highs on Music Sensation I have ever heard. If I could meet the Band in person, my life would be perfect and complete. They give me purpose.

Oh yes, I know all about their translation issues. I know her name was changed after CD. I forgot to add that. My friend owns Sonic the Fighters, so I've seen him play through all the characters. You know, they used to have a Sonic Team division in San Francisco, a friend of mine used to work there. Sadly they shut it down and moved. :( It was probably the closest to where I live. I was about to tell him I was joining until I read about this.
In fact it was and is his nickname in the American version. Remember when he got annoyed when Sonic called him Eggman, responding, "That is Robotnik to you." Over time it just stuck, and he dealt with it by making it his official title as a way to get back at Sonic

This is the song that ruined my "strong" persona. I still miss her day to day, and am not convinced that we had to split because we couldnt make it work. I don't mean to offend anyone but I'm not a big fan of screamo, or what some of you may call hard core metal or something else..? yet most if the songs I have heard have awesome lyrics! And that's what I am starting to like about this music! And then I can just drown myself into all of this awesomeness. And honestly it kinda all sounds the same to me. But I am starting to listen to it more, and now I realize how awesome it actually is. So thanks to a special person, I started loving it!
Well no, in Sonic the Fighters her name is Amy the Rascal, but in the American manual for CD they shagged up and named her Sally Acorn, a character from the Archie comics. I'm positive her canon name is Amy the Hedgehog, or maybe just Amy. Don't quote me on that. Not sure if it was a localization error, or translation, but it seems SEGA/Sonic Team has always had problems regarding translations and localization.
That's a good way of putting it canonically, and so by that logic, then the Eggman puzzle in SA1 could be considered the first step in accepting the name before he flat out calls himself Eggman, but of course that's all from a canon perspective of the Sonic universe, not taking into account the American localization which created the name Robotnik, which was as you know eventually retconned to streamline the different translations. Also, the US manual for CD states Amy's name is Sally Acorn.
Yeah, Black Doom is definitely the worst villain in a Sonic game ever. I liked the gunplay of Shadow, it really worked with the enemies having health bars, but that's really the only game where the health bars work. In Heroes it was quite a nuisance, as with every other game following Heroes, but I find in Shadow it was bearable, because you could pick up, say, an SMG to quickly deal with them.
As a rule, I never respond to trolling, or just plain assholes, but you deserve this one.
Two things: In most cases, songs in this genre have lyrics that don't relate to the title. ALso, along with that, look at almost ALL of ADTRs songs, and tell me how many of the titles go with the lyrics.
Second thing: @xScythful was just trying to maybe rationalise the title. In a metaphorical sense, he/she/it is right, not calling Tails a female. It's a metaphor to the relationship Tails and Sonic had.
It's based on related music as well as your browsing habits, so either youtube genuinely thinks ADTR are similar to lil wayne, or you're a closet lil wayne fan.
Nothing wrong with that of course, just because nobody else is a fan it doesn't mean you can't be. Hell, I get slated for being an ADTR fan. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.
Actually, in Japan his name always was and is Dr. Eggman. For some reason in the American versions of the series up until Adventure 2, Eggman had been called Robotnik, after which they changed it to match the Japan versions. If Eggman was just a nickname, why would he name all his contraptions the "egg-something"? Why would there be egg-centric puzzles in his bases?
