I’m a 47 year old dad with 4 kids and love this song. My kids think it’s funny when I walk around the house going “dadadadadadadada dada” Who’s listening in 2021?
I listen song like crazy and then i forget about it for a few months, and then i suddenly remember, duhduhduhduhduhduhduhduh duhduh duhduh duh duh duh duhduh duhduh duhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduh duhduh duhduh duhduh duhduh " and then I look it up again and the cycle continues.
1:26 is the best part of the song. He goes from singing into a perfect transition to screaming. Love that and the headbang intro. This song is an anthem for adtr fans and metalcore/post-hardcore bands
This song reminds me of my crush, who played this song while we were on our way to the school for a football game because we were in the marching band. She is only 11 months younger than me, and she played this song while we were driving almost a year ago. I'm a senior and she's a junior, and I'm about to graduate, but this song reminds me of her because of her desire to get away from here. I'll always love her and remember her because of this song that she gave to me by playing it in my car. It is now a part of me and this is one way that I will remember her for the rest of my life.
Sleeping with Sirens is an American post-hardcore band from Orlando, Florida currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band was formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know, Broadway, and We Are Defiance. They are currently signed to Rise Records[2] and have released two full-length albums and an acoustic EP, If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack, which was released on June 26, 2012.
Tais Arriola I have literally been watching this video long enough that I actually remember the time when those comments were at the top. They just end up outvoted by comments complaining about them haha
Saw this live on Saturday. The beginning was amazing because I don't even think he sang the "dadadadada" part, it was just 4000 people yelling it. and then LETS GOOO. I went to The House Party Tour mostly because All Time Low and Pierce The Veil are tied for my favorite band of all time, but ADTR's set was the most fun and energetic and I'm definitely more of a fan of them now.
this song gave me the motivation to leave the piece of shit cesspool I was stuck in from childhood all the way through college, now I'm in a much better place and will never look back
Homesick was the album I listened to the most in high school, but I really miss that time, whenever I hear a song from that album, I have great memories and the desire to go back in time
I'm in 8th grade, and I'm gonna make my music teacher put this song on (we're learning about rock music at the moment). It's one of my most favorite songs ever. My class is pretty judgmental but idc, this song is life
+pierce the jay I had also made them listen to Worthless by Bullet For My Valentine, causing them to be even more frightened. They're not even scary songs😂
I dig this shit. Love the intro more than anything, I think it'd be better if the whole song was as hard hitting as the beginning. Let the hate comments begin.
Ian Calandro my heavy stuff is like real heavy, August burns red. I like all rock, I love soft rock, I love punk, I love hard, post hardcore, hard punk, metal punk, metal, metal core, easy core, and death metal, I love every type of rock, and I like edm, mostly trap and chill. I like only very few types of rap, underground raps sounds nice, but I hate listen to music that curses, or talks about drugs and sex or satan. I wouldn't listen to any song like that. I only hate fettywop type of rap, pop, brosetp (skill Rex type of dubstep, real dubstep is blank by disfigure) and I hate blackmetal, satanic metal.
Drumwannabe17 stupid, might aswell listen to pop music and say its rock but weaker compared to the rest of rock. might aswell even say dr.seuss doesnt go as hard as dr.dre
Wile E. Coyote yup, because those are exactly the same things. Here's the problem: ADTR is obviously trying to sound metal but there pop-rocky verses cause them to fail at such endeavors, leaving them to be metal for people who don't like metal. That doesn't make their music bad, it's just a simple fact.
Wile E. Coyote That was quite the harsh reaction to a seemingly innocent comment. Seeing as you know absolutely nothing about me, I'm going to disregard the 90% of your comment that was just you pathetically flaming in the hopes of looking cool or strong or however you people want to be perceived these days. Anyways, do you know what drives me insane? When bands can't make up their minds about the sound they want to have within a song. I understand having ballads and harder stuff and stuff in between, that's cool, but seriously, pop-rocky vocals and metal background makes for a less than satisfactory performance. Certain things just aren't meant to go together. If you need an example, look up BabyMetal. Some things just don't work. Thirdly; I'm gonna guess you don't really know what originality is, you think you do, but I don't really believe that you understand what it is. The sound that ADTR has has all been done before, it's nothing original. Nothing really is original anymore these days. Even the greatest composers in the world weren't original all the time, they stole musical ideas from each other all the time, they used the same chord progressions and compositional structures, among other things. You see, originality is just about impossible in music. There are reasons music that sounds good sounds good, and there's reasons that music that sounds bad sounds bad. There are universal ways of creating music: I-IV-V-I chord progressions, ascending and descending scales and motifs, period structure, A-B-A form, etc, etc. Basically, ADTR isn't original because nobody else is original. Original is more or less impossible. However, some things are more original than others, but ADTR is not one of those things, it's been done before, and it will be done again. I like it but it's nothing original.

1:26 is the best part of the song. He goes from singing into a perfect transition to screaming. Love that and the headbang intro. This song is an anthem for adtr fans and metalcore/post-hardcore bands
I was like 13 years old when this song came out. Im 25 now and my 5 year old daughter enjoys this type of music, crazy how life goes haha
Words don't even begin to describe how good this song is live
I love how positive and upbeat this song is; I wish more screamo could be like this.
I haven't listened to this song in a long time.
Damn, this song brought back some good memories.
This song reminds me of my crush, who played this song while we were on our way to the school for a football game because we were in the marching band. everyone is hating on the people who only like the into but i have not found a single comment saying they only like the intro
The intro is the most generic thing i ever heard, like a metalcore stereotype
Just to make your day, I like the intro the sining, and the outro
i love the intro man.
the intro is amazing!! its one of the best parts of the song :)
Tais Arriola I have literally been watching this video long enough that I actually remember the time when those comments were at the top. They just end up outvoted by comments complaining about them haha
No matter how high i blast the music that pain doesnt go away..
Its so good in the beginning, then the happy melodi comes...
Saw this live on Saturday. The beginning was amazing because I don't even think he sang the "dadadadada" part, it was just 4000 people yelling it. and then LETS GOOO.

10% of comments only like beginning 90% are hating on the people who only like the beginning
XD so true
It's actually *from what I've seen* 01% only like the beginning and 99% hates on the people who like the beginning.

I can listen to this intro for hours!
The intro still makes me happy ☺️
this song gave me the motivation to leave the piece of shit cesspool I was stuck in from childhood all the way through college, now I'm in a much better place and will never look back
Bha'al the Lord of Murder ❤
Homesick was the album I listened to the most in high school, but I really miss that time, whenever I hear a song from that album, I have great memories and the desire to go back in time
The day I listened to this ban was A Day To Remember.

Alec Eaton I see what you did there...
this band brings the best of all worlds, it's awesome
I'm in 8th grade, and I'm gonna make my music teacher put this song on (we're learning about rock music at the moment). It's one of my most favorite songs ever. My class is pretty judgmental but idc, this song is life
how did it go?
+pierce the jay They're all scared of me now, including my teacher lmaooo

They played this live when I saw them! It was great.
Imagine singing the intro in the beginning of a fight...10/10 would watch
Dude you are amazing please post more lyrics vids.
I only like the intro........and the whole song :)
I'd say the "dadadadaddadadaddada" part at the beginnning is the awesomest dadadadadadda ever.
I dig this shit. Love the intro more than anything, I think it'd be better if the whole song was as hard hitting as the beginning. Let the hate comments begin.
No hate comments because a lot of people agree
xSymbolism nah no hate comments, I mean I love this song to death but it would be much better if it was more hard hitting
no hate :) i like the song how it is. it might be better heavier. not sure.
OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG ALL DAY AND LIKE 2 HOURS LATER I FINALLY FOUND IT. ALL I REMEMBERED WAS THE INTRO
Love it^^
those dive bombs still give me chills after all these years.
I really like when the lead vocalist sings instead of screaming all the time. a little screaming is fine, but not when it takes up most of song.
Ian Calandro the screaming is my favorite part
I primo on an ollie lol he should listen to their older music. if you like the heavier stuff listen to 1958 by them and danger in starting a fire
August burns red is great. We have similar styles check out four year strong they're great too.
Ian Calandro they are pretty good, will check out their albums later, once i get some time
Some of my friends love this band, so I decided to look them up. They ain't bad. This is a really cool song :)
one does not simply listen to this song and not headbang until you have whiplash
adtr started off their set with this song last night, sounded awesome, definitely my favourite adtr song
I'm leaving and not coming back
Try not to miss me when I'm gone

2022 listeners?
2024
2024 discovered
2024🤘
Try 2024
One of the catchiest Hard Rock/metal songs I've ever listened to \m/!
I don't get what the 3 4 5 part means
I think it was more like a filler in the song so they out in something to say instead of there being an awkward pause in the lyrics
Their band signed on the dotted line. all 5 of them
Just found this band and omg im in love
Wait, people only like the beginning but not the rest? I find the intro the weak part O_O
I like all of the drops they got. But all of there sounds are amazing nothing is weak about any of there songs
Songs** not sounds lol
+Moe Lester i find the band pretty weak

According to this comment section, someone can't like a single part of a song.
Hate is contagious, you know.
I remember goin over to my buddy's every weekend and staying up all night playing cod ghosts with this song on repeat 😂
new this before the baby metal head lmao
+z. (quit lol) duh.

+bloke15 I laughed way too hard at this comment. 😂
Because I'm immature and laugh at things that usually aren't funny.
First time hearing this. It's so inspirational I love it.
That 1440p....
Bloody love this song.
I like ADTR but I'd like em.much more if they didn't do those clean vocals. If they screamed the time It'd sound much better
Robert Patxot you would probably like their song 2nd Sucks if you haven't already heard it
Love this band! Never fail to amaze
You people and your labels.

Gets you pumped for workouts love it!
Metal for people who don't like metal, that's all this is. I like it but it's pretty weak compared to most of the metal genre.
Why do you have to freak out when people classify music into a genre?
Drumwannabe17
stupid, might aswell listen to pop music and say its rock but weaker compared to the rest of rock. might aswell even say dr.seuss doesnt go as hard as dr.dre
Drumwannabe17
tl;dr
Awesomeness babe! Im very proud of you, u are truth and im so ready for an open road it aint no joke.
Get the hell out of here if you only like the intro, please and thanks. Bye.
I don't see a single comment that says "I only like the intro".
Cyborg2waffles
I was just saying though.
Nicole Fuentes Motionless ik
actually i only like the intro
krakenofdeep213 get the fuck out
this song is just more evidence to why they r my favorite band!:)
Lol at all the whiny emo kids who need something to complain about so they make up people only like the intro which is admittedly the best part
This song rocks!! A Day to Remember is awesome!
i only like the intro and the heavy part. sue me
hell yea coheed and cambria is amazing, not many people know them. I saw them live last year and they were so good
IS IT BAD THE 5SOS MADE ME COME HERE
Yes because 5sos doesn't have hardcore music. There music is too soft.
Oh well
at least they have good music taste
and songs :)
haha no it isnt
Jasmine Wheaton Their music isn't too soft? Haha you'll never last listening to Metal music for 10 minutes.
ok can we stop now
