Shaykh Omar you mentioned the story of your Mother, may Allah grant her a place in al firdaws, that when she woke from a coma she was reciting Quran. That's a reflection of her emaan, and her deep connection with the Quran as I remember you shared a while ago that the last ramadan before she returned to Allah she did multiple khatms of Quran. Our hearts have to be deeply connected to Allah throught His dhikr, through knowing Him, knowing what pleases Him and what displeases Him and reciting Quran daily - not just in Ramadan but on a daily basis, even if it's one or two ayahs a day and then grow from there. May Allah guide us on sirat e mustaqeem always ameen.

I know I must be positive and say allhumdulillah even when in crisis , but I feel like my hardship just increases with time and as time passes that's how intense the crises gets . I am surrounded by people who continuously are blessed with good things and an easy life , I try my best to say allhumdulilah for them but then it just highlights my adversity and difficulty and I am triggered and I break down at times. I have a father who has been ill for a very long time , he is constantly getting one illness after another , he has been suffering for such a long time and as a family we all suffer as well. I pray and I try to look and find the positive but when I see others that have such an easy life , I just break down. I understand that Allah loves us and tests us , but sometimes it just breaks us , we are human , I want to give up and I wonder if this pain will ever decrease , I wonder if there will ever be a blessing to experience , I wonder if My body and my heart will ever get to experience true happiness and ease. Will the pain ever end in this lifetime ....? I pray that it does ...
Pray and ask ALLAH swt abundantly in sujood. Also look at people worse off than yourself to realise and internalise blessings of Allah swt. With every difficulty comes ease.
