It depends. There are some songs where I only cut the low EQ of the main track, while in others, I remove the bass using iZotope RX8.

I used a distortion effect in Logic Pro X. You can reach this sound with a distortion pedal 😉

i'm super late but it can really help to put the video on 0.75x or even 0.5x speed sometimes, then go back to normal once you get the hang of it :)
