You should always try to describe what is in your image (using alt attribute) or have the aria-hidden attribute set to true.
Azeros I never said it's a bad frame work I use it myself but DevPre said why does w3schools still use ASP.NET so I responded to him says that big companies still use ASP.NET

I'm a creative strategist/content manager at a software company and have been in the tech/gaming industries for a while now. Good SEO is a great way to make sure you get noticed in search engines, however, everything comes down to quality of your product. I'm privileged to know some of the trade secrets that Linus references in this video, but at the end of the day, if you want to get noticed, you need a quality product. Whether that is a physical product, or your personality on camera as a youtuber. Figuring out and having something you can offer is always first and foremost. SEO is only one piece of a larger strategy.

3:33 - Google is actually picking on sites that hide text in a form that's unreadable for the user. They are now also visually checking your site as well and punish you for having hard to read text, such as test outside of the view pane or text in the same color as the background.
This is sold as increasing the rating of sites that are viewer and mobile friendly
This kind of competition has been around for ages. Ever wonder why so many companies names start with a bunch of AAs? Back in the day everyone got a Telephone book with all local and regional businesses listed. So companies started adding AA AAA , and so on, in front of their names to be first on the listing for their type of business. Cause people where more likely to call the first plumber in the phone book if they had a broken pipe. And it saved the companies from paying for a large add in the phone book to get recognized.

Alt-Text, means simply alternative text and is a HTML-attribute which describes what your browser shows if an image cannot be displayed. It is also an alternative for blind people which use screen reader. In this case the screen reader simply tells the user what the tag says. There are also Search Engines for websites like amazon which want their products to be searchable. SEO would in this case just meaning to boost someones product. Its a really loaded term which cannot be explained in 6 minutes.

i dont use keywords as its been deprecated over google and bing, description and body paragraph and h2 format that counts

Not a bad primer, but like what someone said, this is fairly old stuff. Something you might have wanted to mention is Google's use of semantic search - it's no longer about keyword stuffing but also about how related keywords and ideas combine to push your site up the ranks.

Google at least, doesn't use 'PageRank' as much these days. Things like social links and other media make a larger impact on relevance. Great video, though; thanks for sharing!
BTW, backlinking is one of those black hat seo strategies. It doesn't work anymore and Google will start to lower your pages rank if it finds a lot of back linking

If you want Google, UA-cam and other search engines to send you free traffic that turns to quality leads and endless customer sign ups, you need to create content that answers searchers questions and give them information that solve theirs problems in the form of text/article or multimedia such as audio or video.

I was able to get a better SEO with the use of influencer marketing via phlanx. Raising the presence (therefore raising traffic) of my business became very easy due to the influencers. How it works is very straightforward, and the returns can be very huge once you get things going for it.

If you build PBNs the right way you can definitely hold a ranking until time runs out and Google will not be able to de-rank it.

Alt text is NOT what appears when you hover over an image with your mouse. Alt-text is what a screen reader sees instead of the image, and what a graphical browser sees before said image has loaded. The little tooltips when you hover an image is the *title attribute*, not the alt attribute.
