This looked very beautiful on you! I'm not a big powder foundation person but this looks like it creates a lovely finish, and with quarantine I like the semi-natural finish it gives you over using heavier, liquid foundations. I also know this isn't the point of the video, but thank you for always including your shade ranges in foundations on most of your videos! It is so helpful.
The side you used the sponge is definitely giving more coverage, but looks really nice. I think it held up just fine for what I look for in a foundation.
Even though I am 58 I love a powder foundation because like many older women of color I still have oily skin. The way I like to use a powder foundation is to use concealer under the eyes and to spot correct on the face or even to use a hydrating cc cream in dry areas if I have them which is rare and then use the powder foundation pressed into my oily areas and to set the rest of my face. And like you said great to touch up. This looked amazing on you as always 😊

I’m going to take one for the team and try sunrise next week for review. After seeing your review I like to finish the foundation so I’m hoping that the deepest shade will work on me. My issue though, is that there’s only one shade that could possibly work for me and the undertone may or may not work.
Great review! The powder doesn't make your skin look cakey. The skin looks healthy. The powder puff does apply the foundation with more coverage. Again, great review!!!!!😍

I love the packaging on this powder and I love how it enhanced your already beautiful skin. I’m not sure if I could pull the concealer off it may be drying on me. The swatches that La Mer provides for the powder foundation are so misleading. At least on my screen, the models are far lighter than the shades they're "modeling". Thank you for reviewing this because I was thinking about getting Caramel in the powder foundation (based on the swatches they provide online) even though I am Suede in the fluid foundation.
At that price point I am going to need La Mer to do better on the shade ranges. I should not be able to potentially fit into three different shades and be able to pull off any of the three while some people are out here either not being able to purchase any or HAVING to purchase two to make it work. Not at that price point.

Thank you so much. Its lovely, it plumps without the pain, yes there is a tingle but not too bad. Its nice for lip prep before lipstick, its nice after skincare and its good all on its own. I have repurchased multiple times. Its a true luxury splurge item.
