  • ▶In this week’s lesson I’ll show you 5 steps to develop fast and clear rolls and some options how to use them in musical ways. This is the first video of my new weekly series of handpan videos, which I will release every Friday. These will include lessons, reviews, compositions and more.
The patterns towards the end of the video will be challenging for beginners, but you can integrate these tips into your practice routine at every level to progress quicker. :)
Stay tuned for more lessons, reviews, compositions and more around our favourite instrument!
    Lesson Level: Intermediate to Advanced
    #handpan #handpanlessons #howtoplayhandpan
The handpan I play in the video is made by Victor Levinson.
    Scale: D - A Bb C D E F G A C

Welcome to my new weekly video series. Please leave any feedback about what you like and what you don't.
If you are curious about any particular subject around the handpan, let me know as well and maybe I'll make a video about it. :)

Excited for this series, David! Thank you for passing down the knowledge. Could you please make a tutorial sometime about how to do this roll technique in the beginning of Kabe's video? It looks like some variation of split hand-- I'd really enjoy some exercises to practice this :)

Achh, you know you are just showing off! LOL! Truly, your music is beautiful. I am a beginner. A very beginning beginner, haha. I hope one day to achieve your skill, techniques, and speed! Deine Musik ist Wunderbar! I am a new subscriber now too, btw. Looking forward to tomorrow's (Friday's) video. Anything for us truly newbie newbies. I know, I know, we are WAYYYYY behind you. But seriously, I just got my first handpan, my first drum ever. I'm 55. I just lost my Mom, my everything, and I have nothing to do now, but time on my hands, and I'm hoping to learn this new hobby, hopefully, it can help me meditate too, to grieve...... Thank you.
