Benchmade used to make me happy. Now I just count in my mouth. The quality since my proxy and bedlam have plummeted and the prices have skyrocketed
I still wish the gold class seven ten was still available and wasn't that expensive

I don't get all the Benchmade hate. If you can't afford a Benchmade, there are plenty of Civivi knives out there. I don't whine because I can't afford a Porsche 911.

As soon as a Benchmade ad or anything by them I eath mute or better change the channel or unsubscribe.
The problem for me is that they used to be better. The gold class of the early 2000s was on par with the finest handmades. The modern ones are mostly material swaps with PVD treated hardware. No natural materials, no fancy inlay work. Got rid of my Proper, Bugout, and Adamas recently because they didn't measure up to the hype. Admittedly the new Seven Ten I handled was nice in hand, but not $600 nice.
Lol actually it's more like why would I buy an overpriced knife made out of subpar materials. Benchmade is almost getting on that James Brand level. And to add. Calling a Benchmade a Porsche is an insult to a car guy. They're more like a mustang. Everyone has one. Especially younger people that don't know how to drive them.
I agree. If the only thing bad you have to say about Benchmade is you aren’t willing to pay the price for them I just ignore your opinion on them. I have a dozen Benchmade’s and love all of them: it’s a treat to buy a new one
PVD coating? I thought top notch benchmade knives used cerakote

Don’t waste your $. Benchmade prices are outrageous. Not worth it. Their older models are far better
