@@failure3653 this isn’t apart of the Tokyo ghoul anime series but the reason a lot of people associate it with Tokyo ghoul is because the person who sings it also sang unravel too (I think) so people just started to associate it with Tokyo ghoul since it connects pretty well .

Tokyo Ghoul is my favourite manga of all time (including :re, and Jack and Pinto), and TK is my favourite musician of all time, but i fucking hate it when people say White Silence is from Tokyo Ghoul when it's not, and they haven't even listened to any of TK's songs apart from Unravel and Katharsis. TK and his Flowering album deserve more credit. Yes, White Silence perfectly suits Tokyo Ghoul, but it was never meant to be in it.
I don't ever remember hearing this song in the anime, it's been a couple years since i last watched the anime (like around 4 or 5 and the 3rd season I didn't pay attention to as much apart from the first half). I love this song though, the live acoustic version is also quite the amazing, the energy and feel during that performance gives me goosebumps.
I hate this world. And yet I love it. I want to see even one smile and yet I want them to hurt people cause of all this anger. I just want to still be me. But I know he has to go. He can't take this fucking world. So I'll set him aside for now. Till my heart is safe to love. Even if not completely, still a better place than this.
