- A unique experience of diving in the crystal clear waters around the island of Filfla. Filfla is the smallest island of the Maltese archipelgo situated at the most shoutern part of Malta. It is a nature reserve for both birds and marine life.
Diving can only be done with the necessary permits.
This was a wonderful experience and a big thanks goes to the Malta Free Diving Club for organising this trip. Thanks also to all the free divers who attended who made this day even more special.
Although the sea was very calm there was a very strong current which proved to be a real challenge for the free divers. These excursions are open to certified free divers due to the technical difficulty they entail.
What a unique diving experience!
Yes indeed. Thank you.
I would of believed no one is allowed to go diving or swimming there it's probated?
Excursions are only allowed with special permission.
Nothing like Malta Airport video but rather the reality of starkness due to overfishing. 😢 Eat more meat! 😊 Thanks David for the update.
Exactly. Clear waters with very little sea life.
I would of thought there are sharks that part of the sea?
There are very few sharks in the Mediterranean. This trip was organised by the Malta Free Divers club and diving is only allowed by having a special permit.
