    All of these videos are spectacular and perhaps should be promoted as part of you bike sale efforts. If I had seen a couple of these prior to purchase, I would have ordered my bike much sooner.🙂

    My new 600x had a bunch of creaking sounds. Loosened the tension just as shown in this video. No more weird sounds. Awesome video!!!

    Great tutorial. As noted on Duzer's video, for EXTREME conditions (mud and maximum stress while bikepacking), use the maximum tension - at least until you return to "normal" riding conditions,

    Thanks for the video. The Onyx has two opposing tension bolts unlike the Apollo featured in the video. How should we approach that?

    Any idea how much deflection there is for proper tension? I get either around 30 or 60 Hz with the app and I’m not sure which it actually is (if either).

    He says the torque spec for the slider bolts is between 12 and 14 Nm. ~13

    What if your phone is not compatible with the app. Is there some kind tension meter you can use

    And what if you don’t have the app or a smartphone? How do judge the correct tension then?

    How about my L Train without disk brakes?

    To replace a belt on the 600X, do you just drop out the wheel put a new belt on, or do you have to relax the tension, then put a new belt on and re-tension?

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  3 роки тому

      drop the wheel out, open the frame at the point where the frame pops open with a couple chain ring bolts, put the new belt on, and then put the wheel in. It should keep belt tension! You can check it when it pops back in.

    How about adjusting the tension on the Classic with coaster brakes? My bike is skipping, which is annoying and probably not good for the belt.

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  2 роки тому

      Hi there! Shoot a message to info@prioritybicycles.com and we will send a video. It’s a quick one though! You loosen the wheel nuts a bit and the coaster brake nut, then use the horizontal tensioning screws to add tension, then tighten everything down! Just shoot us a quick message and a photo/video of how loose your belt is- we got ya!!

    If I find the rear wheel slightly askew relative to the frame, how can I remedy that on a 600? Thanks for the helpful videos!

      With the slider bolts loose, you can loosen one of the belt tension bolts, and tighten the other. Feel free to reach out to us at info@prioritybicycles.com for more information.

    How about my L Train WITH disc brakes? It seems like this should work, I don't see why it is excluded.

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  2 роки тому

      Hey there! The L train uses track-style tensioner screws as opposed to a slider. So once the wheel is set in and slightly tensioned so it holds in place, you can adjust with the tensioners: ua-cam.com/video/VQ3ftOwsYFs/v-deo.html

    How often do you have to check your belt frequency?

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  3 роки тому +1

      It’s really usage dependent. Once you learn the “feel” of it at the right tension you can give it a pluck or tug anytime to check!

    • @tempest1080
      @tempest1080 3 роки тому +2

      You should not have to do it very often. Only if you have changed parts, or if the position of your rear wheel has changed. Otherwise, you should not have to worry about it.
