American Airlines Eagle E175 Economy Main Cabin Extra Flight Review (Republic Airways)

We wrap up our winter trip today with a return back to Miami from #MinneapolisSt-Paul with #AmericanEagle on an Embraer E 175 regional jet by #republicairlines. I find the e-jet series to be very comfortable, in particular for traveling with a companion in the 2 passenger seat pairs. We also visited the Priority Pass accessible PGA Lounge at MSP.

Not so bad flight on regional jet though. Actually, it's still better than having a 3 hours flight on the turboprop though lol 😂

I just complete a flight with Delta on the E175 from Salt Lake City to San Antonio Texas. I’ve been flying for 40 years and this was the worst flight I’ve ever taken. If you are 5’10” or more and have long legs don’t fly on this plane or pay for the upgraded room which most can’t afford. I was so cramped I couldn’t straighten my legs out. I had to sit angled left or right to keep from tearing up my knees. Every time the person in front of me moved or adjusted for comport he would bang my knees. The only way I could get any comfort at all was to hang one leg in the aisle and sit angled to the side. The turbulence was very bad also. The maximum altitude was reached at 36000 ft. This may have had something to do with avoiding some of the turbulence. I don’t know I’m not a pilot. The one positive about this flight is the flight crew was fantastic. The stewards were very considerate concerning my predicament. I caution anyone that flys to check the plane being used. If it’s an E175 don’t fly it unless you can upgrade to first class.
