Im at this resort right now. Its awesome. AC is great set to 15 degrees and our room is cool everytime we come in. No issues with the food. The best restaurant is the seaside grill.
Thank you for the video!! This is the only Resort in Tulumn offered by Costco. I was going to book but after this review I will Save more coins and book elsewhere. I'm not a difficult person and am willing to oversee some things to make the best of any situation. But this is terrible 😢
I’m here now and I’m so ready to go home I wish I seen your review sooner. I got a swim out room as well our phone was broken multiple people came and still couldn’t fix the phone and the tablets were down so we couldn’t order room service for two days housekeeping keeps your doors open and walk away so we got a lizzard in our room. They sent us to a basic room for the night while they got it out but it was in there the next morning, Fridge doesn’t work water all over the room floor maintenances came and it was still broken, the food is HORRIBLE , the water has a weird smell in the pools, smells like sewage all around resort, all pools close at 8, Can’t swim in the swim out room past 8 the raccoons are the worst there everywhere past 6pm they roam the resort eating off the trays and are the size of a four year old toddler standing up. I will never return here the manger Ruben gave us the same form with compensation of money back but we will see I leave tomorrow and can’t wait two hrs left in this nightmare
Everything you said was completely opposite of my experiences at this resort! The only nightmare I saw in this video was trying to listen to you over the wind and your brutal videoing.

Stayed here four or five years ago now, give or take I can't remember. None of this surprises me, and the food was some of the worst at any all inclusive I've stayed at (and I've stayed at some pretty budget ones). We got the swim up room cause they were trying to smooze us being a young couple and wanted to sell us the vacation package. That vacation package they straight up lied to us about the cost and we only caught them because we are shrewd with our numbers and knew something wasn't adding up (they wouldn't let us hold the ipad and what they were doing was going through the booking process for ONE adult, not two, and telling us that was the TOTAL cost for our vacation, so it looked like a super cheap deal). As thanks for losing half a day arguing soap prices with them (they said they can't make the vacation club as cheap as they were literally telling us it was since they have to pay their costs, which I'm sympathetic to if you're not lying to me) they gave us the swim up room. The first two days we couldn't use it because there was an algae bloom that stunk so bad in it. Once it was clean it's just chest deep water you can't swim anywhere and you share it with other rooms it just goes in a square. Which is ok but I wouldn't pay extra for one unless you really like staying in your room. She's absolutely right about the room service. They act like it's the end of the world when you call and ask for a plate of fruit and something to drink, and cut fruit took over an hour to pick up, dishes left sitting all day never picked up. The rooms were in a poor state of repair but I thought they might be getting ready for renovations, that's why we got a cheap deal through the third party site. Looks like that wasn't the case! I've stayed in cheaper and more expensive resorts, and the Dreams Tulum isn't worth it at any price point except Super Budget. Thanks OP for making the vid! Glad to hear the wedding ceremony went well at least (or that's what I heard you say around the wind anyway)

When we arrived at the airport, I expected there to be someone waiting for us. Instead, we were ushered to a line wayyyyyy at the end of the airport to "check in" where we then had to wait another hour before we were given transportation. The drive over was the scariest ride of my life. No Bueno. Check-in: Check in went smoothly. Rooms were ready when we arrived. They do give you a cool towel for your hands or face but the champagne and whole apples were off to the side for you to fix yourself if you wanted it. Before we made it to the rooms, we were offered money off spa treatment if we did a presentation. I have never been to a resort trying to sell me on a vacation club so I was shocked by this. I'm on vacation, I don't want to waste it doing a presentation. We all declined but were asked at least 3 other times by the same people. They even called one of our rooms about it!! The Rooms: = Nightmare. The property is older but once you get past that, it wasn't the cleanest. In our initial room, there was hair left in the sink, the toilet just ran the whole time and the AIR does not get cold. Night one we called maintenance to come see why the air wouldn't get colder than 78 degrees. 3 Maintenance men later, we ended up having to change rooms at 1 am. It took about 40 minutes for them to come move us because the person moving us was "at an event." They told us we would move for the night and move back once the issue was fixed We told them that wouldn't work. We are not going to bounce from room to room. 2nd room was 5 degrees cooler, had twin beds, sheets and pillows stained. It was a mess. Somewhere after night 2 the battery on the door died so we spent 40 minutes walking back and forth to the lobby trying to get in the room. The towels are super hard and the shower had a slight stench. If you're looking for little towel animals on the bed, look again. The Food: = Nightmare. If you are a foodie, avoid this resort. The restaurants were barely open. No tacos or authentic Mexican cuisine in sight. No spicy sauce, no salt and pepper. The food overall was just bland which was shocking because Mexican food in the states is super flavorful. The desserts are all gluten free. I may have actually lost weight here. The only saving grace is the hibachi table. The food there was good overall. Entertainment: Shout out to Ricardi B for doing a great job letting folks know about the entertainment each night. They need people like him on this resort to liven things up. If I build a resort, I'll come back to get him, Hugo, Victor and a few others. Compared to other resorts I've been to, this one doesn't stand up. Hardworking people but there just needs to be more.
Went last August for a wedding. It was great. The food could be better, but service and resort were fine. We don't get this type of service in the states. Think about it.

@@prayingdivakelz update for you. We booked another resort down the road and walked out of Dreams. They didn’t even ask if there was anything they could do or apologize. Our basic gripe, among other things, was there was hardly any food. A lot of people were complaining.
Please tell me how this when my brother is planning his wedding in tulum and he wanted to use this resort i came accross this video and need to learn more
The audio in this was the real nightmare...I could barely make out what you was saying on full blast. That being said you most likely had a bad trip just based on GP...shit happens. Bet if you tried it again it'd go way smoother for you ma'am.
