What type of camera did you use to record this?? When I went to her show I used my canon g7x and the image quality was fantastic but the bass was overwhelming! It doesn't seem like you had this problem here.

Nope - Panasonic has a built in quality audio recording component already included in the camera. Canon has a cheapo one. Had one of those many years ago and took it back because it sucked for concert recording.
