Meghan also completely misunderstood what the movie was attempting to say about male aggression and toxic masculinity (according to commentaries from the director and the author of the novel that the screenplay was based on), only viewing it through the narrow prism of her own pathological narcissism. Wow in your attempt to be a critic you proved how much of a idiot you are seeing as how you lack context or actual insight. She brought up Fight Club as a seperate topic and did a segway. Plus she asked that based on his comments about masculinity and said 'You made a movie that dealt with this issue.'
His characters have nothing to do with him standing up for women; you brought it up and confused yourself on that. What they said was he stood up for his girlfriend against Harvey Weinstein at the top of his game.

That's like saying, "Whoppi, you're against violence BUT you played the voice of a hyena that was going to kill a baby lion! My God!" Lol it literally makes no sense. A character is a character. @@whitmichelletv Nope. Abby missed the point. Her assertion that gender roles exist in the home is fine if that works for her. I have no issue with that. Sunny pretty much agrees with that too - she made it more articulately. The issue is that Abby takes a strand of logic and then gets it confused with a talking point unrelated to the issue at hand. Joy says it right after her.... this isnt about the good guys. This isnt about the men in out lives. Its about toxic masculinity. Ergo my point that Abby missed the point. What a coincidence that this might match some tradition. But white ruling over black was also tradition. The Native American World the woman is always in charge in the hole. If they go outside and those women except that they had to follow the men entrusted their judgement when dealing with animals and such. People will wonder if two musicians are two architects you share the same space. This is not a gender issue and there's women's viewing bigotry against women. You could have the same problem with brothers or sisters are two best friends asking the question what does each one bring to the table.? If that is what you want, then that's your preference and you'll need to seek out women who are willing to be that for you. Although, women are physically unable to protect a man because a man is naturally the stronger vessel. I believe women are not here on earth to fight along with men in battles, we're here to nourish and rejuvenate you after your battles with our natural healing and in return you keep us (and children) safe and secure within our vulnerabilities. Men make the house, but women make the house a home.

So for you people who apparently “couldn’t” understand what Abby was saying, she very clearly said that she is willing to let men take the lead based of the fact there are still true gentlemen in the world. She is clearly a traditionalist, like Sunny, and wishes not to change her position based off of a generalization of men being non-gentleman- even if that is the majority.
Also, Fantasia’s post was about emasculating men. Abby WAS on topic and so was Sunny. Idk what Joy was talking about as this had nothing to do with men in political power. Ana also sounded weird- readily threatening people with death when they have or have been perceived to harm your loved one is NOT masculinity. That’s threatening someone. Taking the initiative in this way should NOT be mistaken for masculinity.

I've always noticed & experienced that it's the SAME individuals who speak on another's past indiscretions, live a life of hypocrisy, bcuz they generally see themselves & project their own miserable lives onto other's.. It's extremely obvious to me how low @tkc self-esteem truuly is.. She/He NEEDS to improve on her/his own life, Betterment of Self, way of thinking, & way of Be'IN b4 tryna spew unrelated garbage about another individuals life.. My Beautiful Melanated Sister Queen Fantasia has come a loooong way, her journey was Rough & She made it thru the Fire.. Who in their "Right Mind" could feel comfortable about themselves tryna knock another person down 4 their past indiscretions??? Only A Hypocrite would do that!! Frfr SMH...

Sandra Shubs you’re absolutely right. A relationship between two people should include boundaries which respect the full autonomy of each person. No one needs to be the leader or act like they know better all the time, that’s disrespectful and oppressive to another human being.
