The entire point of Fight Club was to show the damage that the pressure of performative alpha masculinity and capitalism does to men... I am so disappointed by this conversation they just had. Manhood needs to be redefined by men as something beyond this stereotypical idea of unemotional brute force, guardian keepers of women.
