All my player's are extremely stressed now. Thank you
Bring them some terror! Enjoy
Holding your breath, waiting for the DM to say those terrible words. “Roll for Initiative.”
Thats not terrible thats where the fun begins coward
Ahh the instant panic, fear, and stress when the dm says "roll for initiative" after describing something that doesn't feel quite right
Even worse when the "Roll for Initiative" doesn't even come and instead you get "Roll a wisdom saving throw"
@@ShadowEclipex it's a false hydra isn't it?
New player: "Man combat is to easy" (bragging)
Veterans looking at the DM in knowing fear: 😶
They shall learn soon enough!!
This sets a very eerie atmosphere, I love it! Great work!
"while the rest of you sleep, which one of you is keeping watch?"
"it's quite a windy night, so all the trees and bushes are rustling about. Make a perception check."
"is there something just past those bushes? Did you just see them move more, organically?"
"a strong gust blows by, and you lost the sense of something being out there. you don't see anything unusual anymore."
"it's been a few minutes, you still see nothing, and then you realize you should've turned around. whatever it is, it's behind you."
"what's your AC?"
Love “what’s your AC” as a question. Really spurs up some fear
Awesome music and picture. I love dungeons and dragons.
I was scared of Barovia until I killed a werewolf with a tree.
Everyone’s gangster until the DM starts playing this music
the players in my campaign all go silent when this stars playing its the theme for one of the main villains
I love that. Thank you for sharing!
Yoooooo! That is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!
i have 2 NPCs. Named Quinn and Dugo. Dugo is a massive wendigo type creature, and Quinn was his beloved before he got turned into a monster. my party sacrificed the two companions they made in order to survive, and now they are coming back with a vengeance. i cant believe i stumbled upon this perfect music, with a wendigo type creature, and written by a Lucas "Quinn". fate is a strange thing. thank you for sharing :)
Love this! Fate indeed.
This could also fit if you happen to use an Oblex when your party starts to catch on that "Something's Not Right" even with some familiar and trusted faces so close at hand (who are in truth Oblex puppets). Or when the revelation that the party is dealing with an Oblex at all. Since an Oblex can _be_ literally _anyone_ or _anything_ sentient and mimic them perfectly (there are only two clues that you're dealing with an Oblex puppet: a faint smell of sulfur and a very thin strand of red ooze being connected to the Oblex's "puppet" in some way).
I came from Reddit.. the mists of Barovia have ushered me to this place.. Something’s Not Right..
And now you shall never leave!
@@lucasquinncreations I've been here for years
There far worst thing than the mist out here my new found friend come sit by the fire
“You hear that?…the wind, the breeze, and sensation in the air grows dense. You feel it…Something is off about these woods. Especially these dark red oak trees. Or maybe…just a closer look can determine something about these oaks…oak trees don’t have dark red wood…do they? That’s when it struck you. The tense feeling erupts heavy and quick like a weighted pile you’re carrying as you feel weaker, the vile smell as you come closer to these trees…these dark red oak trees…the smell is fresh, putrid, and horrid. No longer as you seek the meaning behind these questions you ponder…your only solution…get far away from these trees…these dark red oak trees.”
Look! Over there.
That cluster of trees. Something's off. Look at the the way the light falls through the canopy around them.
They're darker. It's as if the light can't fully reach beneath them, like they're somehow holding it back. They shouldn't be that dark.
That's right, those trees..... are shady as fuck.
Question besiege your mind why the putrid smell why the sudent fear why.... why... by the time your mind wrap around your situation.... it already to late the shadow of these putrid tree start to take shape. All the fiber in your body tell you to run but your feet are frozeen in place no matter what you try they cant and would'n move..... is it the bone chilling fear taking a hold of your every action.... no it far deeper than that your instinc deep inside of you know there no out running what coming. Like the twilight preceding the night..... after what seem to be an eternity the smell intensified shadow are taking form thing that seemed to be tree before grew arms and legs there eyes crimson red there theet razor sharp mist escaping there bone white skull... you see them and they sees you... now there only one question....... FIGHT?.....OR.......FLIGHT
A Sage man said there no greater evil than the beast inside of us our greed our lust our anger...... if it true that this beast inside of us is such monstrosity what would you do if you where to ever face them in putrid flesh
Plan on using this during the epilogue to tell them its not over yet. Thank you for the perfect music, it sounds better than any other suspense music for TTRPG's I've ever heard.
Very kind of you! I hope you enjoy using it.
Music to “Roll Perception Check” to.
[Fails]
"I mean, everything looks just peachy to you, really. "
"Really? But the music?"
"Gurnhad the Fighter doesn't hear music."
"Yeah but..."
[Dice clatter]
Everyone: "Oh no..."
Weary from the long walk you see a small town, a wooden palisade encloses the houses and keeps you out. Stretching out on either side of the gate a pikes, each topped by the head of a recently killed wolf. As you approach a voice calls out from the wall, “No one is allowed to enter Vallaki after sunset. Return in the morning, that is if you’re still alive.”
Hahaha, I get this reference
Lowkey love that, I’m gonna use something like that in my dnd games
"No worries, I'll come back."
Says calmly Vasili von Holtz.
"I have another place to stay at night."
@@devilsadvocate6381 i don't, please explain.
This is 100% getting used in my campaign!
For those 'It's quiet' 'Almost...too quiet' moments.
Lame jokes aside, great work man, it really does create that eerie atmosphere that a magical circus, or a haunted carnival would.
This music has been so useful in my campaign recently being the theme of the most dreadful and horrifying location the party have ever had to go to thanks!
This makes me so happy to hear. Thank you for enjoying my music and using it in your games!
My DM use this once in one of his "epic battle", its still spook the rest of the player until this day (including me (he's a really great DM))
Thank you for sharing, that is awesome!
"There is a saying... curiosity kills the cat... this is what happened to us in Vestok, our innate curiosity led us to open the very gate to hell."
This is brilliant mate currently compiling music/ambience for my campaign and this is definitely making the playlist
Used this fkr my dnd session, alps from battle brothers sourrounded the camp after stalking them for a few sessiosn building up nightmares and wisdom saves, everybody who failed had to foght their characters worst perceived failure, while the one awake was terrified of 3 faceless pale white shapes in the echoes of the fires flames watching him and mocking him with coyote calls,
Can I just say how amazing the art work is as well and just how it suits the music perfectly
just found it, perfect for the scene im setting in my campaign, thank you very much
Oh I will definitely be using this in one of my campaigns to show off my D&D cryptid.
I have a bad feeling about this...
Are you forgetting someone?
Can you not see?
Where is my world?
It's only me.
Deep in this world.
Of paper & pen.
With one heart throbbing tone.
My life shall end.
And then you notice. The wind has stopped.
You hear not the sound of birds or beasts, only the faint crackle of twigs as something draws near.
Immediate goosebumps - dude this rules
During my last campaign, I made it so the history of the world was shrouded in mystery. In reality, the angels and demons were in a million year war, which, for the past 500 or so, was at a point of stalemate, neither dared make a move, but the war still raged on in shadows, rogue demons and angels were found fighting in the wilds. The angels and demons had slowly adapted to looking more humanoid, and living within the world..until slowly, and surely, it turned out…everyone, except these brave adventurers from a far off land, were angels and demons, roaming the land in secret, oblivious to the war going on around them.
Wow this captivates a suspenseful atmosphere perfectly
I HOPE IT REACHES MORE PEOPLE, FROM THE HEART ❤️ I WILL SUBSCRIBE AND GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA 🇦🇷❤️
Much love. Thank you!
This one’s amazing buddy! Great job 🎉
GM: You did it. The lich is felled and his undead legions vanquished. Non shall bother the bodies of the surrounding kindoms anymore.
The party gazes upon the devastated battlefield, where the undying forces of the lich held off the ancient horrors encroaching upon this realm. The purple stormclouds in the east however remain, still spewing more beasts into this realm.
The cleric: "the dead can rest in peace now."
The barbarian: "isn't it over? The winds are still poisonous!"
The fighter: "the monsters aren't vanishing, he summoned them too, didn't he? Oi warlock, you said these would go away after we destroy the summoner!"
The warlock: "We made a mistake."
*This absolute banger starts playing*
The last words escaping the lich's fractured skull: "Why didn't you listen? Now they will claim you all..."
The eldritch beasts which were fighting the undead up until now had turned their attention westward to the closest settlement.
This was the mid-point of the campain, in which a few of my friends were trying to make sense of a lich's uncharacteristic actions. He was sending his minions out to raid graveyards but never had them "make more bodies" for him to raise. He once slew an entire church full of "relegious people" (cultists), but left the rest of the settlement untouched. This piece started playing after the party had beaten the guy into submission and realised that the lich was in fact not the BBEG. You helped me sell the reveal thanks for that.
That is an incredible moment. I am glad this could help make it better. Thank you for sharing!
Is it ok if I use this for my UA-cam series?
I couldn't tell looking at your Patreon but is their a tier where not just songs of the month are available for download?
Yes! The Bardic Collection at the $5 tier gives you 5 songs a month.
I have GOT to try this some time!
Roll a perception check: 19
Besides your friends ,You hear... Nothing. . . Not a whimper of an animal nor a cry of a bird. Neither the crackling of leaves or howling of the winds. Y o u H e a r N o t h I n g.
Your hair stands on edge, your heart beats louder than even the conversations of your companions. Your eyes dart as your head swivels to search for... Something....
The rest of the party mouths move as if asking you something but your focus was somewhere else... S o m e t h i n g else.
You see it, as still as the trees that surround that... Thing. A tall and lanky humanoid twice the height of even your tallest companion with a skull of a deer for a head. You stare at dark crimson eyes, it s t a r e s back.
You have been marked.
Flee
Note: This is a home brew wendigo made to be as scary as it possibly can, it horrified us.
Love this prompt that you've added to the music and image. Thank you for sharing!
Could a DM play this out loud to just to mess with their players?
Absolutely. Turn it up and watch their reactions 🙌🏻
Im still trapped here. Where is the way out?
That’s the funny thing, there isn’t one.
Something's not right...
A calling in my blood, there is... It speaks to me... Beckons me to violence, it does. To atrocity.
Every day it grows harder and harder to resist the urge.
How it tempts me.
You should go, now, strangers, and leave these lands.
Leave, before my will fails, and I finally slip away into bloody a frenzy and black rage.
This gives me super strong Fable vibes
This is perfect for a boss im working on!
That moment when a heroic quest turns into a survival horror.
What creature is this?
A wendigo!
