I’m pissed there is no open world yugioh game that would be similar to the Pokémon games where you could make your own character/Duelist and build up your deck and duel other players or have Pve bosses where you and your friends can fight it.
Flame Ninja right in my opinion yu gi oh lost its touch after 5ds its not serious like it was and they try waaay to hard on the character design like with Yuma
killaK Right? I stopped watching when Zexal came on. I got about 5-8 episodes in and I just couldn't stand it. The characters were annoying and in my opinion the game became to convoluted. Synchros were cool in 5ds, but Xyz were just dumb in my opinion. My favorite yugioh was definetly Gx. So imagine how upset I was when they decided to not continue the dub and the worst part is the dub ended on a sad note lol

The first three Yugioh classic serieses have a knack for delivering gem choices and well crafted intros, they're so hype and well nailed! Jaden as the protagonist against the adversaries and antagonists is particularly great too in the scenes

The ones with Jaden are also straight up the most iconic and classic of the whole GX series, representing it plain and simple without a doubt, even over characters like Zane, Chazz or Aster.

Damn I'm so old. This takes me way back. I remember crying so much and being depressed when the original Yugioh ended and Atem went away. Then I wake up the next Saturday and see GX in the same timeslot and I'm like, ":O and the journey continues...", and my depression was over lmao.
I used to watch it every night on TV before I went to sleep. The truth is that I don't like going to school but that's the only school I've ever wanted to go to and want to go to. Only the most incredible things are only the ones you see on television 😢

Me being an adult now is realizing kaiba pettiness for yugi is so high by making slifer red the lower rake dorm where not only did the students just barely pass entrance exams go to but also gets very little of school funds for upkeep. Meanwhile obelisk blue is the highest rank dorm, get most of the school budget, have better living conditions and serve fantastic food.

I havent watched a yugioh series since ep 2 of gx on air date, came across duel gen a week ago on playstore and here i am 26 and just now finally sitting down and giving it another go, good show. Guess i should watch the others as well.
Lol likewise took me forever to watch this show I'm 27 now, I stop watching after the first yugioh and when GX came on I quit after episode 1 of 2 don't remember I just wasn't really feeling it but I gave it a second chance YEARS later and realize that this show actually wasn't so bad, some will argue its better than the original, in some ways I can see that but the original is by far the most interesting , however I love the character Jaden I really do I love when Jaden says thats game, overall I like the show. I also plan to watch the others as well.

@Paraone Ngatai Sad to see ancient gears made to be a fodder antagonist deck later on, I loved the theme of it and was my go to deck for a looooooong time.
The first three Yugioh classic serieses have a knack for delivering gem choices and well crafted intros, they're so hype and well nailed!
Jaden as the protagonist against the adversaries and antagonists is particularly great too in the scenes

The ones with Jaden are also straight up the most iconic and classic of the whole GX series, representing it plain and simple without a doubt, even over characters like Zane, Chazz or Aster.
I remember those days back when I was 10 years younger back that day, I would always anticipate this series and finishing it starting with the Season 1 dub.
Those days made my childhood rock.

This used to air every friday in the evening on cartoon network here in Norway. I remember laying in bed in the evening watching this almost every friday being so happy. This was one of my favorite shows from my childhood and I have such good memories with it. I still remember the wonderful feeling the end of season one left me with. I'm 25 now and I still re-watch the show sometimes. I miss being a kid while watching this with zero worries and just enjoying life.
RIP Takahashi-Sensei thank you for creating a game that not only was fun but impacted culture. You'll legacy will never be forgotten 🙏🏿

This theme brings a much needed dose of early 2000s that we all need. I recently got that nostalgia for Yu-Gi-Oh so I made an instrumental full cover of this theme to honor it

Me being an adult now is realizing kaiba pettiness for yugi is so high by making slifer red the lower rake dorm where not only did the students just barely pass entrance exams go to but also gets very little of school funds for upkeep. Meanwhile obelisk blue is the highest rank dorm, get most of the school budget, have better living conditions and serve fantastic food.

Took the longest time to watch this, new Yu-Gi-Oh. Call me a old fan but almost never wanted to watch this. But a year ago, I finally decided to give this a try. Gotta say, I will 100% admit I was wrong. Great opening and a great story
I havent watched a yugioh series since ep 2 of gx on air date, came across duel gen a week ago on playstore and here i am 26 and just now finally sitting down and giving it another go, good show. Guess i should watch the others as well.
Lol likewise took me forever to watch this show I'm 27 now, I stop watching after the first yugioh and when GX came on I quit after episode 1 of 2 don't remember I just wasn't really feeling it but I gave it a second chance YEARS later and realize that this show actually wasn't so bad, some will argue its better than the original, in some ways I can see that but the original is by far the most interesting , however I love the character Jaden I really do I love when Jaden says thats game, overall I like the show. I also plan to watch the others as well.

I remember watching this for the first time on Cartoon Network around 2005 and I was blown away there was a new yugioh series. Ever since then Elemental Heroes have been my favorite monster types.
