There's a scarily accurate feeling to this scene. Jeff exudes so much of the insecurity and fear that most of us deal with on a daily basis. And Abed juxtaposes him as someone who has just learnt what Jeff had been telling him all episode. Sometimes life will throw you into unfavorable circumstances, but even when things don't go to plan, we have to keep moving on and making the best of it. Because eventually those unplanned moments that pierce through the randomness of life might make all the difference and point us down new directions that we would never have imagined otherwise.
@@shubhasheeshdubey5328 I feel like maybe Jeff and Abed become the favorite the more you rewatch the show. Troy and Abed are an amazing pair and their friendship is one of the best but Jeff and Abed are two sides of the same coin. Both raised by tv without a strong father figure, one who learned to be self secure but can’t communicate well the other connects with people easily but is insecure. And Jeff understands all of Abeds references while Abed always calls Jeff on his BS. And by the end of the show they help each other with Jeff learning to be more self assured and Abed being more comfortable with others. I just love watching their character growth together, which Troy and Abed, as great as they are, have significantly less of.
The problem with Troy though, he became very immature and dumb as the show went on. I missed how he was in the first season. As he and Abed became besties, Troy just turned into another Abed sadly.@@shubhasheeshdubey5328
Many people don't appreciate season 6, but this scene have helped me to navigate through my life ever since I saw it. Keep trying on getting the best of the worst situation and be hopeful, because you'll never know when some happy accident is going to happen.
“I am huge and I have zero blood sugar. I will kill you in these frisbees and no one will ever find you!” Makes me laugh every time. This is such a great scene.
This was the single best moment from the episode. You really got to see Pudi & McHale really deliver as actors. They always had really great two person scenes throughout the series & this was no exception. Tbh, not a fan of S6 overall. The episodes felt too contrived, overworked, & overwritten by an exhausted writing team out of organic ideas, but the final three episodes and this scene stay with me. Excited for 15 years & a movie.
@@0xilipe0 It’s not even meta, it’s clunky. The episodes feel so contrived & try-hard in its zaniness. Built & written from the outside. The writers were tired & Harmon was focused on Rick & Morty. Every episode felt like they were spinning their wheels until they could get to the final three episodes which all felt more focused & inspired. They said what they wanted to say in those final three episodes. Everything else was filler. Loved this scene, though.
@@got2bjosh do you really blame them lmao they had to use episodes to introduce some new characters and develop them, a smaller yahoo tv budget which you can definitely say it wouldve helped have a better setting, production value, and just props in general. Im not really sure what is exactly wrong with this season like you say, I would argue the episodes are just more episodic than the previous seasons which i again dont blame them. Introducing new characters in a 13 episode season and make you like and get close to them is hard and they still managed to do it well. So really, spending some of the season on development from new characters, having some episodic episodes, and having the 2nd half of the season focus more on the ending of the show seems absolutely okay with me.
@@skim7968 Yahoo actually gave them a bunch of money. They had larger sets & made the lightning more cinematic (although I personally prefer the brighter, more saturated look of their NBC days). I already explained what the issue with S6 was. Conceptually, the writers didn't know where to go, so we go a bunch of stories built from the outside. Filler episodes that could be removed & unseen without any real difference in character journey & the audience's viewing experience. They said everything they needed to say in the final three episodes. If people enjoyed S6, that's cool but for me, it's the worst season & the final three episodes could fit comfortably into S5 no problem.
I know everyone loves the Troy/Abed relationship, but I'm sad we didn't get more moments like this with Abed and Jeff throughout the show. Abed always felt like Jeff's therapist, and Jeff felt like the one guy who was able to understand Abed's weirdness and over-reliance on pop culture references.
Never noticed how many of the Frisbee have Tao symbols, nor the fact that the Frisbee are stitched together with zip ties into a kind of Frisbee-net draped over garbage. Not an Easter egg really but still...
It's quite telling that the most terrifying moment in Community isn't the horror spoofs, but the reference to The Big Band Theory
Even Pierce got to die 💀💀
Unironically one of my favorite scenes in all of Community, the great acting and emotions on display get me every time

Thank you for teaching that juxtapose is word! English language is crazy...
@@pandolino1654 I speak it all the time and it still confuses me.
It's a goooood word. 👉😎👉
"I'm huge and have 0 blood sugar, I'll kill you in this frisbees and nobody will find you."
Is an all-time favorite of mine
Jeff and Abed really are the best duo
And first.
I think troy would like to disagree 😂

Took six seasons for both to truly see each others value.
But if we had the movie who knows where this could go!

When the scene started, I thought: wow it's like in the episode of TBBT. Damn how I was satisfied when Abed said this
"I never tell anybody about our private conversations. I wouldn't really know how" 😂
You know it’s bad when Abed asks Jeff “What is wrong with you?”
“I am huge and I have zero blood sugar. I will kill you in these frisbees and no one will ever find you!” Makes me laugh every time. This is such a great scene.
This is the most poignant conversation in the series. It's more intense and personal than the finale scene with Annie even.
Somehow, I don't get annoyed by the Bazinga from Abed, but Sheldon does
cuz it's Abed and he's the best
Because this was a one time thing, and also ironic

I get why people don't like it, but I love how far S6 has its head up its butt. It's the most meta Community season.

Jeff being jealous of Chris Pratt is sad and funny at the same time.
