My papa who was my rock growing up sadly passed away in 2018. He grabbed my hand and brought it to his chest so I could hear him say to me “you will always be my daughter” right before he passed. My stepdad was my rock too and we lost him in august 2020 due to dementia. 💔 😭 He was in my life for 27 years and I’m so so so thankful everyday that we got to share all those experiences together. I told her just come over and we would do dinner and watch a movie at the house instead of going out and to bring Savannah. My daughter played this song for my husband right before she asked him to adopt her and had already changed her last name to his at age 19....He has been the best Daddy her and my son could ever hope for❤ In June it was all official, the adoption was final and she carried his last name with pride and got to graduate as a Bradford. My son will have the same opportunity when he turns 18 if he wants it. My husband has been there since our daughter was 5 and son was 3.....14 years later, we are still one big happy family!

But My Step Daughters made Me the Man I am today. They made Me want to change my whole way of life I was living. They made Me become Humble and made Me wanna be a better person in life. Someone that they can look up to as a Father Figure in life. And someone that they can have as there Role Model. Because they can learn alot from Me. Because I have been there and Done that. And I have been through the Struggle in life. But I wouldn't never go back to the Drug Dealing life or the drug life, or the fighting or the partying life or the drinking that I use to do. I wouldn't trade the life I have for that life not in a million years. Nobody couldn't pay no amount of money to turn back to the life I use to have. Because I love this life I have right now and wouldn't never ever change it either. Because now I got a Woman that loves Me and really cares about me and my well being. And I have not just two Daughters now. I have three Daughters now I started off with Two Daughters when Me and my Girl got together. But now I have three little girls. Because Me and My Girl we Have a Daughter of our own together that will be a year old in April.

I met my daughter when she was 4. My first date with my wife she couldn’t find a babysitter. I didn’t even know she had a kid. I told her just come over and we would do dinner and watch a movie at the house instead of going out and to bring Savannah. My wife fell asleep on the couch and me and Savannah went to the neighborhood park. So my first date was my now wife falling asleep on the couch and it turned into a play date. I was 24 years old just floating through life. I literally fell in love with my daughter before my wife. We got married 5 months later but since Savannah started kindergarten before we were getting married we legally had her name changed to mine so she could learn to write her new name. How someone didn’t want to be there for that beautiful amazing kid blows my mind. She is now 22 and working on her masters degree and I would move the world if that’s what it takes to keep her happy. She isn’t my “step daughter”. She’s my baby…she’s my kid…my daughter…..she’s absolutely my girl.
