The predators a bit wider than my foot while the mercurial fit me perfectly. The curve for the side of both cleats is similar. So it depends on your foot
The Superfly 6 is still amazing. I'm assuming you got a deal on them since they've been out for a while. Just use them until the superfly 7 goes on sale.

As a long time wearer of the Superfly, i completely agree that Nike should do something unique to the cleats themselves that not only distinguishes it from the Vapor on a appearance level but most importantly on a performance level. Maybe use the carbon fiber mid plate from the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit?
I bought a pair of these about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love these boots!! My feet never cramped or got blisters during the break in process. I give them a 9.9 out of 10!

The only reason why I actually like the collar is because I hate when the pellets from turf and artificial grass get into my shoes. Collar actually helps to keep you boots clean.

Hey Josh, I've been coming back from injury and have been juggling/doing light dribbling drills wearing the OG adidas ultraboost 1.0 and surprisingly I prefer the contact and feel on the ball I get using them more than the actual boots I was wearing pre injury (Vapor X's and Copa Mundials). Does the Vapor 13 have a similar feel to the ultraboost knit? If not can you recommend another boot that does. Cheers.

Here’s the thing the mercurial is a ‘speed ‘ boot right? Ok so with a speed booth you want a snug fit like a sock and a thin upper . Knitted up on speed boots provide a sock like feel so there isn’t any sliding around . But on the phantom VSN it’s not a speed but what Nike makes it out as a midfielders boot if that makes sense it all about control and passing. The Phantom VSN replaces the Obra with the 3D flyknit texturing and a padded touch the phantom VSN is kind of the opposite not much padding and not much grip elements beside the inner triangle thing so while sock boot is good on the mercurial and not so much on the Phantom VSN
Just got my first pair of superflies ever. Got the superfly 7, after years of wearing all kinds of vapors lately the 12 pro and 12 elite (in ag and fg respectively). Tbh I found that the 12 pro is the best for me, while the elite was quite comfortable and exciting to wear. However, upon moving countries I got this pair of Superflies (instead of the Academy, because those are the only ones they had in store) for only 85$. However, I found the boot to be extremely narrow although it is gradually stretching, the collar to be extremely uncofortable and also the collar and boot in the back are creating a major friction point hurting my Achilles. Is it just me?
There will be, just you wait... There has always been a takedown model for almost every boots. Nike has their Pro, Academy and Club for their takedowns, where Adidas boots ends with either .2, .3 or .4 for their takedowns instead of .1 in their top of the line model. Thankfully Nike went over their previous way of naming their takedown models which is kinda hard to differentiate (for example we previously had Veloce, Victory, and Vortex for the Mercurial takedown models, where in Tiempo you would see names like Legacy, Ligeria and Rio.)
Does anyone know where I can get these in 2021? I’ve owned them for about a year and a half and they’re, by far, my favorite cleats I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately, they’ve reached the end of their lifespan and I’m not a big fan of the superfly 8
About the ankle collar - when playing on artificial grass the extra height given by the collar stops the annoying black rubber pieces flying into the shoe causing annoying discomfort. For this reason I will only by boots/cleats with a collar. So, it may appear they do nothing but in actual fact they do serve a purpose - just not the purpose Nike claim!

I remember shooting the ball with the outside of my foot very hard when i was 14. Today im 24 with size 47 (12,5) i can barely get to the point to hit the ball where i need to. I often hit the ground and hurt myself

Once i worn boots which were 2 sizes smaller , it hurt but i could dribble the ball better at high speed cos i could stayed in a natural running position and didnt needed to angle my foot diagonal in order to avoid contact with the ground

it will eventually stretch and fit you but u might have a hard time putting in ur feet because of the mid cut

Are the puma king platinums suitable for wide feet, had trouble with the vapor being to narrow so I can’t wear them now and was looking at the kings
They have a fairly slim profile about them, but they will fit most people. Definitely not the widest leather boot though.

The back of the sock is rubbing against the my ankle giving me blisters. But I love the shoe and it’s comfortable other than that. What should I do?
