Dude literally impaled himself with a rod through his eye and his head. Ever since then I've had eye issues lol. (almost 20 yrs ago) And no, I do not do emergency work anymore lol. The spider stabbing eyes was ughhh!! for me hahah. We got the same subs this time lol and I 100% think it's more impactful when he says "be hunted" after talking about the hunters. Rambo style. Also, I listened to this ep with my nice earphones for once and I have to say, this is one of the nicest sounding episodes I've heard. Just the VA/bass with the fighting is amazing. Gotta give the VA/OST their justice.
That was Chul in the White Tiger Training hall?! Love how they are doing small scenes with future characters like this, same today. Anime only viewers are probably a little confused about them, but they certainly don't hurt to have.

I find it funny that this society is so god damn narrow minded. They tie every decision and assumption to the rank, not taking into consideration that there are so many more factors besides that letter. XD
Kinda? The series in general doesn’t utilise its side characters much. I think the anime made a good choice with foreshadowing some of them early, but it’s ultimately window dressing.
While the episode was done really well overall, there are some cut sequences that were left out that make it a bit disjointed in my opinion. Why include the fatigue counter but cut the daily mission reset? The Spider fight seemed wayy too easy in the anime whereas in the source material it was almost pure luck that he was able to pull off the kill. I think the choice of prioritizing doing so much set up on characters that we probably won't even see become relevant this season over some of the important smaller details is a miss for me. Overall IMO its an 8.5/10, beautifully animated with an amazing score but feeling a little hollow and rushed.
The skill is still called bloodlust for me (my opinion also thats what its called in the manhwa also) thats a better name for it also the "Drain" effect should have been bleed instead and the killings where more brutal in the manhwa I feel like wich I would have liked here, still a good episode though.
And the girl they talk to from White Tiger (Heejin) is the B rank from the Red Gate Incident (which I hoped we get to during this cour, but now that 2 cours have been confirmed(?) I don't mind anymore)
