    Talking about human rights in Korea, the current government regime is far right fascist and as long as they are in power, you can't expect much to adress human rights.

      @JjJj-ik1pd Рік тому +1

      Who are you to say that? You do not seem to know about the current government. No human rights? Hahaha! The president lets a very famous guy talk about him so openely in all the media with straight rude names and swears but nothing is happening to him which he even admitted. That is a very free country. When you don't know, research first; and when you still don't know, be wise and close your mouth. The proof is that you talked silly and still must be living well without anything happened to you in South Korea yourself, and I am 100% sure.

    It was a sad history of Korea. In the chaos of the time, there had been always people who had taken advantage of the chaotic times. I had been living through the time and felt what it had been like. The person who founded the orphanage house had run the house for the personal gain as if doing it as charity organization with a backing of church. Even now, in Korea, there still are countless reports of incidents that innocent people have been abused by politicians, civil organizations, even major news outlets, politicians, authorities, judges, prosecutors, and so on.... Recently, the chief justice of the highest court was caught in hidden recording that he was threatening a judge to not resign so that he could be indicted because he might have been sympathized with the recently impeached president Park Geun Hae. He fabricated a story to placate the discreetly deceptive former president Moon Jae In who put him into the chief justice position to maliciously find guilt of her presidency.
    It was a jaw-dropping to see how the Korean citizens blindly follow the unfounded fabricated stories pumping out from the major media outlets to maul and attack the integrity of the innocent and hard-working president Park Geun Hae. There is no sincere critical journalistic work from them, but there are full of copying, mob-following, empty sensationalism, nonsense, dictatorial brain-washing words. They were distorting facts or tampering with the evidence to make president Park Geun wicked. All 7 constitutional judges came together to impeach her in one mind without a single dissent to avoid any accusation later even though there had been dissenting votes against the impeachment. It was like North Korea that does not allow one single vote against the brutal regime. How could you dare point fingers at them!!! This is what is happening right now in Korea. The educated are sickening and afraid of mistreatments for their futures. The media outlets are acting like gangster groups and excel in copying the news and easy money making. Too much sicknesses in Korean society.....

      Park Geun Hye(Hae) = dictator(Park Jung-Hee)'s daughter= former president of S. Korea.
      It is true that Park Jung-Hee has contributed to Korea's economic development. However, he changed the constitution to try to hold power permanently, and he took the right to vote from the people. How many people were imprisoned and died because of him? Why support the daughter of such a dictator? You are simply spreading lies with your religious beliefs.

      Without the help of the United States, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kim Dae-jung was killed by Park Chung-hee. He was sentenced to death, kidnapped and was on the verge of death in the ocean. It is true that S. Korean society is sick, and the media is deceiving citizens with false news. But the direction is the exact opposite of what you said. Why was Park Geun-hye impeached, and why did the Constitutional Court of S. Korea make the impeachment legal?

    We need to put this in perspective. While it is horrible, the 70s Korea was not like rich Western nations. South Korea was dirt poor trying to attract Western investments. Most of these children had only few options in life. 1. Die of starvation or abuse on the street. 2. Turn to crime 3. Stay in these facilities. Many churches rescued them but there are limitations. Much of these facilities were minimally funded by the government.
    Sadly, it is a tragedy that most poor nations go through. You don't think this was happening in other developing nations?
