You & Craig are bringing back a lot t of memories. We always went to A&W and ordered it from the car when my friend & I went to “cruise” the town on a Saturday night. lol. Ours has closed. My oldest sister & her husband had a home in DesMoines, then went to California for the winter. Sadly, she passed away 2 years ago quite suddenly. She was 13 years older than me. Miss her so much. I love watching Craig with all the books and stuffed animals. He is such a polite young man. You are such an inspiration. Craig is so blessed to have you & your husband. I love A&W... Their chili is delish. They should never serve ice in root beer... That's how I feel anyway... The A&Ws near us have gotten rid of the car hop service. We were told that vehicles these days have windows with too much of a slope to hold the trays. I also remember using the carhop service as a child...
I really like the A&W restaurant, ut has such a cool old school vibe, i hope i get to visit one day. The Coney dog did look really good !! The Garfield was really cute, never seen that one before !! Beautiful birds !! ❤
We have an a&w in upstate ny waitress came out she came out on roller skates I use to work at this one for a long time congratulations on the new baby ❤
I have enjoyed A & W food for many years. I have never seen ice cubes in the frosty mug of root beer. Did you ask for ice, or do they normally come that way. I really like the videos you produce.
The woodpecker was saying goodbye, at the end. 🥰beautiful Orioles! Was that grape jelly in the glass container hanging? We have them here, and I’ve seen them, but never fed them ( other than fruit). I tend to get ants very easily, but I really should! Love that A&W! I noticed before, how nice everyone is in there and how clean and pristine it is. It truly IS an icon. I was curious how old that location was, so I looked it up. There was an article that came up from your newspaper (independent advocate) from 2021, talking about the history (it was the 65 anniversary). The current building was built in 1970. It told about the history and how it came to be. Very interesting! So you really do have a lot of memories there!
That is grape jelly in the feeders. The orioles definitely prefer it to the oranges that we have put out. That A&W is so nice. I’m glad it has remained open all these years 😊😊😊
I'm up here in Des Moines, Iowa. We've got an A&W on University Ave near the Fairgrounds. Do you guys still have a Pizza Ranch? I wish we would get one on the South Side here.
