Please someone help me. There’s this guy I’m really interested in. But I can’t figure him out. Sometimes I think he might be interested and others not so much. I really don’t want to stay in this doubt. He works really close to where I work. He parks at the parking lot of my work building everyday for lunch. He is very serious and doesn’t speak much, at least to me. The other day he came to my house for a party and he kept making jokes and acting funny while playing a board game. And I’m very shy so I tried to not even look at him. But one time I did and he was looking at me. I really don’t know what to even think. He is very confusing. Someone help me with this

I couldn't date another man like this. It took me through the wringer the first time, he had too much emotional trauma he hadn't dealt with and truly didn't want to deal with, so I had to leave it alone because it eventually took a sharp turn into emotional abuse. I do believe he loved me, but he just didn't have the capacity for a healthy, adult relationship. After 3/4 years and little lasting change, it just wasn't for me. I would never put myself through it again, but for y'all who can, good luck to you!
Literally just divorced a man like this. Among other things this was a huge problem of his. To many things wrong and not enough personal growth for me to stay right now.
This. As much as someone can have feelings for me I think we deserve people who's more available. Just because his emotionally unavailable doesn't make it anymore special

My pet 🐾 of 12 years was the best relationship I ever had - loyal, caring, kept me safe. I've yet to find a man who matches my pet. So far, no man has been able to meet or exceed my pet ❤🐾
My ex was the same and totally in love with her pet. She eventually saw, after we broke up, that she wasn't letting actual humans (men/me) take care of her in the same ways she let her dog, because she always wanted to be independent, but also always bestowed more love and affection on her dog than anyone else, so it kinda went both ways..
@casmartin790 Yes because each time I attempted to show my affection to a man, I was told that I am too clingy, annoying, and moving too fast. In response, men leave me. But when I showed that affection to my pet, it was welcomed and reciprocated.

I just pray everything that god will give me better resources to help my partner who been emotionally unavailable for a long time. He definitely stopped all conversations and contracts with me. Plus he never even spends time with me on my birthday anymore and i never ever see him on holidays anymore. Plus we don’t have date night anymore. I been patiently waiting for years for him too change his life . But no change at all . I’m just focusing on me now .
How about he go to therapy so he can heal the trauma that has his emotions stuck in the first place. Let’s not normalize men being emotionless. Let’s give them the tools and techniques to teach him how to deal with his emotions. He’s never going to get over them, but he can learn how to deal with his triggers in a healthy way so he doesn’t take it out on his family, friends and coworkers…this applies to women too!

Men speak with their actions. If he likes you, you won't be confused about it. It will just be a matter of time before he makes a move, but in the mean time welcome his advances. Don't be so focused on it though. Be busy living your life and let the rest fall into place.
