But you can calculate faster than a calculator just remember cubes from 1-10
Just see what's the last digit is and cross 3 digits and write whatever 1-10 cubes unit digit is and for the next 3 digits find the nearest cube
For example-
Cube root of 4096-
Last digit of 4096 is 6 so find a cube in 1-10 whose last digit is 6( which is 6) and cross out "096" And find the nearest cube that doesn't exceed the next 3 digits(004 in this case whose nearest cube would be 1) at the end the ans should be

At first when I saw I was thinking, "yeah, but, that must only work for 5 digit numbers that happen to have an integer cube root, if they don't you'll get the wrong answer..." and then you started talking and I was like "OH NO IT'S EVEN WORSE"
