Marissa and David, thank you for taking us along this stunning village. It is very dreamy. So much history and georgeous cottages, and homes. Loved the Ploughman's lunch. It is so pretty and romantic.❤
You have certainly picked some absolutely stunning villages to visit, Through them all I have felt like I am with you and smelling the roses too!! Your style of filming is so calming and captures all the details one would want to see in churches and storefronts etc. Thank you so very much for this wonderful series of Cotswold visits with all the beauty and history they represent.
Awww thank you so much my lovely! I just love your beautiful comments and am so glad that you love the style of my filming. I’m learning each day and hope to be improving each time. I’ve loved the Cotswolds so much and have filmed each village, so there will be more! I couldn’t decide which one I liked the best! Sending love 🥰☺️🌸🌞💖
I visited the Cotswolds forty years ago. Nothing has changed. Picturesque villages ,gardens full of flowers and so much greener. What a place! The scenery of the Cotswolds is beyond comparison. I wish you both to have a nice life full of love and happiness. You deserve it !!!
Thank you so much for your beautiful comments and wishes! We are so grateful. It really hasn’t changed much and that’s because the British are so great at protecting their heritage, which I so admire! It’s a wonderful thing indeed! Sending love your way 🥰💖🌸🤗
Ciao Marisa and David, another stunning video. Nothing is like the Cotswolds, you just can't get a better cozy, quaint, picturesque place to be. The villages are so amazing, with the flowers, stone building, the bridge was perfect. Thank you for taking us along on your English holiday. Amore da N.Y.
Ciao Joni! Thank you so much for your fabulous comments! You are so right about the Cotswolds… we couldn’t agree with you more! Just fantastic and we loved every moment there. We are so glad you’re enjoying our English travels and thank you so much for joining us! Sending love 🥰🌸🤗🌳
Hi Marisa and David, glad to see you enjoying the English countryside with the lovely smelling roses 🌹 I hope you had fun. Thank you for sharing another adventure. Sending love and hugs. Take care 😊 🌹 🥀 🏵 💐 ❤
Hi Janet and thank you once more for your kind and lovely comments! We have loved our time here and are sad that it’s coming to an end. Best wishes to you and much love! 💖🤗🌸🥰🌞
Idyllic ❣️ love strolling through the Cotswolds with you...sooo pretty...love all the roses. Love all the old doors too. I've never actually seen the ploughmans lunch, pretty healthy❣️ enjoy it all. Thankyou.🧡🧡🧡
@@cmp7777CeliaP it has been such a wonderful experience my sweet! It has made me appreciate my English heritage so much more. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it all… I find it so relaxing! The ploughman’s lunch is an ancient tradition, hence the apple etc. truly simple and healthy! 🥰♥️🌞 thank you sweetheart 🥰🌹💋💋💋
Lovely. For all along your path there is no wrong, just pretty flower and bird of song, nature's beauty all around, to fill my sight - to fill my sound. Past English oak through pastures new, wherever you lead I shall follow you, for you are my England you are my home, and along your country lanes my soul shall forever roam. ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video,as always..Yes, 'Combe' (as in rhymes with room). It really mean 'valley'..If you ever go to Devon .and Cornwall, you will see Combe in a few place names,Combe Martin,Widecombe etc..The Cotswolds are beautiful and yes, some places are very touristy arent they.Good thing you visited before the schools break up for the 6 week summer holiday,it would have been so much more crowded.Thank you for taking us along Marisa and David.I havent visited there for a while.Brings back memories of when my husband (he passed away recently) and children( both in their 40's now) used to visit..Just stunning.❤.xx
@@vickipurton933 you’re so welcome Vicki! Thank you so much for the little pronunciation lesson. It’s hard to be sure at times. My mother grew up in Devon but I’ve not been there since I was a child, so I don’t recall the names. I’m so glad this brought back lovely memories for you! We just loved it all 🥰💋🌸🐝🤗
You’re so welcome! Try to watch the others we made as well, there are so many lovely places to visit and I am still creating other videos as we stayed there 9 days. It’s amazing and you’ll love it! Happy holidays 🥰♥️🤗
Lovely.. we feel very sorry for those who escape the hustle and bustle of the city in search of a quiet life in the country only for tourists to discover their beautiful village and make life less serene and 'touristy'... wouldn't it be wonderful if some villages simply remained a secret... (yes talking from experience :-(
I totally get you, as we chose to live in a quieter village in Tuscany for those exact reasons. I can't imagine wanting to be in a highly touristed village on purpose but we all have that choice. Some villages definitely remain off the tourist tracks which is lovely. Most people never stay as long as we did, so they just visit the most well-known villages for certain. We were so fortunate to have the time discover little gems on our own! Thank you so much for watching and for your very valuable input. Best wishes Rowan :D xox
@@talesfromtuscany We purchased into our little Italian village 12 years ago when it was a quaint quiet village with almost all locals and a few family run hotels. Today its full of short term rentals and the locals are moving away. Another village not far from us is crowded over Summer and a ghost town for the rest of the year. Victims of instagram and short term tourists who want to take a selfie as some kind of bizzare trophy before moving on....
