The 2nd question can be reinforced by the events of the Second Intifada which they should have been apologising over their suicide bombings and wanting to rewind their punishment for it but instead chose to fight over something that happened a few generations ago before most of them nor most of the Israelis were born. Reasonably most of the world do not fight over s*** that happened long before we were born but rather over situations that happened within our lifespans.

A formal, recognised training process. Bachelor's if that's what you like. Or a cadetship. Regular testing to ensure the training is working. And yes, at the end, some form of examination resulting in legitimate accreditation. Earning membership in a recognised institution or professional body.
And then, yes, a real, actual, formal, recognised, official, proper media card.

In which country in the world do non-citizens have the right to vote? Israelis have the right to vote in Israel, whether they are Druze, Bedouin, Arab Muslims, Arab Christians or Jews.
Residents of Gaza and the West Bank can vote in Gaza and the West Bank if their respective governments allow it. It is not Israel's fault that they do not allow it.

I feel bad for this student journalist. Why is he spending so much energy on this issue which he clearly has no understanding of.
Why are so many Australians wasting their time and energy, virtue signalling on a conflict that has nothing to do with them.. Imagine if they focused that energy on issues in Australia.
Like all these Students and Student Protestors , they spend so much of their lives in Schooling they begin craving some sense of worth and purpose , especially when they start to mature in University. Unfortunately they jump on anything without doing their research independently , they have never been in a position to be held accountable for anything in the Real World and are very easily impressionable. You find alot younger people that have entered the workforce full time , do not involve themselves in such matters as they have a purpose and are contributing to society. They are only the same in the sense that they carry out their terrorism in a similar manner, but in terms of their political/ideological affiliation they are different. Hamas is the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization originating from Egypt and banned there (like Hamas), which is sort of "the original Islamist organization." The Muslim Brotherhood is 100 years old, and managed to take power in Egypt for a few years under Morsi. ISIS/DAESH on the other hand is a Salafist organization, which originates in Saudi Wahabism. In either case, for anyone who is not Muslim, both mean pretty much the same in terms of their actions.

Hi I don't know much about the issue... its not something I have researched.... I did watch a vid of a old Palestinian "babushka (from my culture)" getting her house bulldozed.. She was in a chair and just sat there watching the Israeli forces demolish her house... Iv also seen so many vids of women and children dead, like not soldiers... Just women and children.. I don't support either side... Just wish we could all get along.. My grandmother was r**** countless times in concentration camps but she held no ill will against the German people... 😞

For the purpose of the present Convention, the term 'the crime of apartheid', which shall include similar policies and practices of racial segregation and discrimination as practiced in southern Africa, shall apply to the following inhumane acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them:
Denial to a member or members of a racial group or groups of the right to life and liberty of person
By murder of members of a racial group or groups;
By the infliction upon the members of a racial group or groups of serious bodily or mental harm, by the infringement of their freedom or dignity, or by subjecting them to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment;
By arbitrary arrest and illegal imprisonment of the members of a racial group or groups;
Deliberate imposition on a racial group or groups of living conditions calculated to cause its or their physical destruction in whole or in part;
Any legislative measures and other measures calculated to prevent a racial group or groups from participation in the political, social, economic and cultural life of the country and the deliberate creation of conditions preventing the full development of such a group or groups, in particular by denying to members of a racial group or groups basic human rights and freedoms, including the right to work, the right to form recognised trade unions, the right to education, the right to leave and to return to their country, the right to a nationality, the right to freedom of movement and residence, the right to freedom of opinion and expression, and the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association;
Any measures including legislative measures, designed to divide the population along racial lines by the creation of separate reserves and ghettos for the members of a racial group or groups, the prohibition of mixed marriages among members of various racial groups, the expropriation of landed property belonging to a racial group or groups or to members thereof;
Exploitation of the labour of the members of a racial group or groups, in particular by submitting them to forced labour;
Persecution of organizations and persons, by depriving them of fundamental rights and freedoms, because they oppose apartheid.

I like you Avi but you're being disingenuous, the reality is that there are plenty of laws on the books that discriminate against Arab citizens such as the 2003 law Ban on Family Unification or the ban on commemorating the Nakba or even the right to residency, in March 2018 Israel passed a law allowing the interior minister to revoke the residency rights of any Palestinian in Jerusalem on the grounds of a “breach of loyalty” to Israel yet there is no such law for Israelis. And there are many more.
In regards to Arabs in the army, they are not conscripted, those who serve are largely Druze and Bedouin, they represent about 2000 on a total of 170k and only one has ever reached the rank of Major General, a Druze. For those who don't know the Druze signed a pact of allegiance with Israel in 1956 and have sided with them ever since.
