And of course some apparatus would be necessary to be created to attatch the arduino, mouse, printer cartridge and batteries in the same place. Perhaps the required processing power would be to much. Perhaps an raspberry pi pico could handle these tasks
I would think using a mouse to capture X and Y coordinates to be processed in G-Code and sent to CNC or Laser Cutter. It would be like using a touch pad.
I'm just beginner. I noticed your code has bit shifting and bitwise operation and I never understand how it works. Do you have some simple tutorial on how to use it? I understand only that it move bit left and right but never understand how it is used on the data.
Mad scientist achievement unlocked there lol
bro made his own mouse driver
One good usage of this project would be the fusion of movement data and IO of the buttons for a small portable printer.

Plus some motors and gears to move it across the paper.

I knew I kept that PS2 mouse around for something. ;) Cool video.
Cool interface!

Can you make a leaner ruler to mature the length using this mouse.
GREAT!
merci beaucoup
I'm working on windows like GUI on Arduino due this could work as cursor😅
should use this for a z80 project along with a ps2 keyboard
I never even used a PS2 mouse, only keyboards because ps2 keyboards are surprisingly very good
