That was the wrong air frame to test those on, you need something with a better glide ratio like 15:1+

Why didn't you show it flying? Other than your setup being a bit crude. (the engines plumbing , mounting etc.) the LEAST you could do is show you flying it. There's nothing wrong with the idea, but on the day this video was made, I've got a good idea that the best place for this airplane would have been in the hanger
